Cycling is best experienced in a tranquil setting next to the historic Hindu temple known as the “Katukoliha temple” and the vast rice fields. While traveling, you will see the Mullegoda Temple’s stunning murals engraved onto the walls and the azure Dedduwa Lake. It is without a doubt one of the best things to do in Bentota. Additionally, you may go to Bentota beach, which has a number of serene and lovely beaches. Bentota Beach, one of them, greets guests with swaying coconut trees and beautiful surroundings. It is unquestionably the ideal spot for nature lovers to enjoy relaxing water sports like,

Bentota River - Water skiing: learn to water ski in Bentota and enjoy the feeling of the water beneath your feet and the wind in your hair. This beach is the perfect setting for risk-free sea skiing adventures. The magnificent expanses of water become an addiction for adrenaline junkies because of the lack of significant boulders and uneven conditions. If you enjoy water sports, this is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your skills in a relaxed and secure setting. Do not be concerned if this is your first time; the support personnel will teach and supervise the visitors to provide a fun and safe experience.

Bentota - Snorkeling and Diving: No matter your level of experience, Bentota gives you a memorable diving trip. Here, you may swim in the pleasantly warm Indian Ocean beside tropical fish and gorgeous coral reefs, or you can try to maneuver through the abundant underwater seaweed. Anyone who has the chance should try it out.

Banana Boat & Tube Rides: Banana tubes are, as their name suggests, tubes that resemble bananas and are rope-attached to a speed boat. The journey promises an exhilarating experience, complete with enormous waves that fall over your head. In Bentota, visitors can choose between single-ring rides and couch rides, both of which are appropriate for any age.

Madu River - Windsurfing: You can’t enjoy windsurfing on crystal-clear water just anywhere, but Bentota is the place to go if that’s what you desire. It has the ideal climate all year round. Visitors have the option of renting equipment or bringing their own. Bentota provides lessons and individual sessions for travelers who want to learn about or try windsurfing.

There are many more water sports you can enjoy. Then you can take a boat ride on the lovely Madu River close to Balapitiya town in the evening. The neighboring creek creates a number of islands, and the local biological system also produces a magnificent wetland. It is the conclusion of the day, so you will be transported to the hotel.

Day 5 – Colombo City Tour & Departure

Colombo - On the fifth day, you’ll travel to Colombo to explore the Sri Lankan capital before your departure. After breakfast, we’ll first visit Gangaramaya Temple. One of Colombo’s most significant temples, the Gangaramaya Temple, combines traditional and modern architectural elements. It was finished in the late 19th century and is situated on the Beira Lake. The Beira Lake is located in the center of Colombo, Sri Lanka. It formerly covered a little over 1.65 km2 (0.64 sq mi) of land, but due to a number of factors, it has since been reduced to just 0.65 km2 (0.25 sq mi). Throughout the Portuguese, Dutch, and English colonial periods, the lake served a variety of purposes. It keeps using its Portuguese name. It is connected to a number of intricate canals that make transporting goods across the city and suburbs straightforward.

Colombo City Centre - Then we’ll move in the direction of the Galle Face. Galle Face is a 500 m (1,600 ft) long urban park that spans 5 hectares (12 acres) in the heart of Colombo. Governor Sir Henry George Ward initially designed the promenade in 1859, despite the fact that the original Galle Face Green covered a far larger area than what is currently seen. Then we will stop at the Independence Memorial Hall, also known as the Independence Commemoration Hall, which is a national monument in Sri Lanka that was erected to commemorate the country’s independence from British rule on February 4, 1948, when a Ceylonese-elected legislature regained complete control of the country. It is situated at Independence Square, also known as Torrington Square, in Colombo’s Cinnamon Gardens. The Independence Memorial Museum is also housed there.

Colombo National Museum - The Old Colombo Dutch Hospital, also known as The Dutch Hospital, is said to be the oldest building in the Colombo Fort district and was built during the Dutch colonial era in Sri Lanka. It is a historic building that is used as a culinary and shopping center nowadays. Here you can buy mementos and have something to eat. Your journey with Lanka Safe Tours is now over, and your honorable guide will leave you off at the airport or in Colombo depending on your preferences.

A trip of a lifetime to Sri lanka - From the moment of arrival from the airport until departure, the trip was frankly beautiful The hotels were excellent, but next time I might choose five-star hotels instead of four-star hotels The food is a little difficult if one is not used to spicy food, but to be honest, the food is delicious The person who was with him is named: Supun He is very respectful, educated, and extremely helpful. He is never short and rude from the first day to the last. The people he invites to for tourism tours are tidy, respectable people who understand their job, to be frank. I do not advise people to come in the fourth month or after, because the heat and humidity start to increase, so it is possible that the third month and before that will have excellent weather. The country is a paradise, the nature is amazing and the people of the country are very respectful.

Great experience! - I went on this trip with a friend for her birthday and we had an amazing experience! Supun, our tour guide was personable, flexible and knowledgable. Sri Lanka is truly a beautiful country with a warm and welcoming culture. Supun enthusiastically showed us the beauty of his country. We stayed in Kandy, Ella, and Galle. I really enjoyed seeing the Nine Arches bridge and little Adam’s peak had beautiful views. The only thing I wish we is that could have stayed longer than 5 days! Sri Lanka has so much to offer. Will definitely have to come back and do another tour with them! Many thanks to Supun for making our amazing experience.

Highly recommended tour company - The moment we decided our trip to Lanka, We checked so many tours from Lanka but Lanka Safe tours were the first one to respond. Once we confirm the package we were added to WhatsApp group to discuss itenary/ package etc. The moment we landed in Lanka, we were given a warm welcome with sea shell garland by Mr. Supun and his smooth and cool driving brought us all the way to KANDY from where we were able to reach all our Sightseeing areas like Nuwaraeliya, Sigirya, Dambulla. I highly recommend Lanka safe tours for all the good planning and engaging us with a cool and comfortable pilot/guide like Mr.Supun

Beautiful Sri Lanka has been an incredible surprise for me and my family - Sri Lanka has been an incredible surprise for me and my family. We have enjoyed a beautiful landscapes and temples, discovered new traditions and culture and had an excellent time with family. Prasanna was our guide and driver in Sri Lanka and made our 6-day vacation truly exceptional. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, he ensured that we had a fantastic trip. Lakshan organized our hotels and suggested amazing cultural and natural activities. We explored Buddhist temples, visited a spice farm and tea factory, embarked on a scenic train ride, and experienced great safaris with lots of elephants in national parks. The untouched beauty of the nature we encountered on our little hikes was breath taking. Prasanna's extensive knowledge of history, culture, and local life enriched our experience. His driving skills were great, always ensuring our safety. We appreciated his friendly and helpful nature, even amidst our numerous questions :) Prasanna explained a lot of interesting information during the journey and completed with his knowledge the visits to temples and other famous places. He also recommended a few new activities that we didn't plan, Place Nuwaraliya amazing place and very great pleasant cool weather. The most important thing for me is that he always adapts to the traveller plan and advise you to get the best experience you can, being very respectful and nice. We had a fantastic time with Prasanna and wholeheartedly recommend his services. If we return to Sri Lanka someday, we will definitely count with Lanka safe tour company again! It has been an authentic pleasure. Kamalesh

Highly recommended - The first good impression I had with Thakshala who was very fast in replying and the whole booking process went without any problems. I have been on the tour with Supun, who really made this tour a big success. Although, I travelled alone and had some concerns at the beginning, I need to say that there was no reason for it. Supun is very professional, knowledgable, timely and ensures that you will enjoy the tour. Even some issues are directly actioned and resolved on the spot. The trip itself takes you through different cities (Kandy, Bentota, Colombo) which gives you the possibility to see different landscapes of Sri Lanka. Overall it was a very good experience and I can recommend Lanka Safe tours.
