Amazing week in Northern Tanzania! - Our 6 day Safari adventure with Meru Slopes was brilliantly organised from start to finish by Almachius. Everything was provided as advertised and represented tremendous value for money. Our guide/driver Douglas was fantastic and really friendly. The kind of guy you could spend hours with, discussing his animal knowledge and stories. Rasheed our chef was a brilliant cook and it was a highlight of each day to see what he had whipped up for dinner. Always too much! The included local wine each evening was also an unexpected touch. Our week was made even better by the fact Meru had placed us with a fantastic group of likeminded travellers whom we really enjoyed the company of. We will be recommending Meru slopes to future safari goers and using them when we return for Kilimanjaro! Don’t hesitate to book your trip with them.

He told us many facts about the animals and also some stories, which was very interesting. Our chef Moshi was also super helpful, when i was sick he proved some natural medicine which helped a lot. and the food was just great, moshi put lots of effort into providing us with great meals. i can only recommend daniel and moshi! overall it was a great experience and i feel very grateful.

Unforgettable experience - We contacted Meru Slopes from Italy for a 6 day private safari and Geoffrey was immediately very helpful, answering all our questions and meeting our needs. The tour was organized as follows: 0. Arrival and overnight in Arusha 1. Tarangire and overnight stay in the lodge 2. Central Serengeti and overnight stay at one of the central Serengeti campsites 3. Northern Serengeti to see the great migration and overnight at the same campsite as the previous evening 4. Central Serengeti and journey to Ngorongoro with overnight stay at a campsite on top of the crater (bring warm clothes because it is really cold) 5. Ngorongoro and overnight stay in the lodge 6. Lake Manyara and return to Arusha with an overnight stay. Meru Slopes took care of all our travel and accommodation, from arrival to our departure: they are very well organised. The safari was fantastic, we managed to see lots of animals, including the great migration in the north of the Serengeti, although that day we had a lot of bad luck: in one day we punctured 3 tires. The roads are terrible and our jeep probably had some worn tires. Each jeep has two spare wheels for emergencies and in bad luck we were lucky: the third wheel blew out on the way back so we returned with another jeep with other people always with Meru Slopes. The situation was managed and we managed not to waste too much time. The food was excellent, both lunch and dinner meals were always well cooked. We recommend Meru Slopes to anyone who wants to take on this wonderful adventure!

Would recommend! - Incredible experience. I am very happy I choose Meru slopes. Professional and experienced company. Geofrey and his team made sure everything was well organised. From pick up from the airport till drop-off. If there is something Geofrey is helpful, accommodating and is making sure everything is going smooth. He is well reachable and easy to communicate with. Also our guide Jacob was incredibly skilled. He has a tremendous eye for spotting animals and he is driven and motivated to bring us to the best places to see the animals. One thing that is good to know: if you pay with card at the office there is an 3.5% extra charge. Would definitely recommend Meru Slopes

A fantastic experience and excellent value for money - A fantastic experience: very knowledgeable guides, a great itinerary, and excellent value for money. It is possible to have a great tour of Serengeti and Ngorongoro without spending a crazy amount of money -- do it with Meru Slopes. I was especially impressed with how Meru Slopes treated me as a solo traveller. In other countries, I have had bad experiences -- every day I would get dumped off from one tour group to the next, doing some parts of the itinerary twice and missing some parts entirely. One time in Peru, I spent an entire day of a 5-day tour just sitting in the tour company's office, because they didn't have another group to put me in. That will NOT happen to you with Meru Slopes. They treat everyone as a valued customer. In my Meru Slopes tour, all of the other tourists were Spanish speakers, but the guide explained everything in just as much detail for me in English as he did for the others in Spanish -- he didn't give me a lower level of service just because I was travelling alone. I did change groups for the last day because I was doing the 6-day tour while everyone else was doing a 5-day tour, but the change was handled very efficiently and professionally, and the second guide was also excellent. I have travelled to 66 countries, and this is one of the best experiences that I have had.

Amazing safari, beyond imaginable - Everything was perfect, the guide, the cook, the accommodation in the heart of the wilderness. Really 6 unforgettable days with Meru Slopes. The guides have great knowledge of the animals and approach them closer than we could ever imagine. We saw the big five, lions and cheetahs hunting, thousands of wildebeest and zebra... Very professional agency and amazing experience, highly recommended. Would love to do It again.
