Great introduction to Cairo - Thanks to Yoma for organising this and Mahmoud, our great tour guide. We enjoy food tours as a fabulous way to get around and familiarise us with a new culture. We were picked up on time from our hotel and came back safely 6 hours later. Lots of different foods were sampled, we strolled around with the guide between places and were picked up by the driver again to see the market and mosque. Central Cairo is very busy with lot’s of people and traffic and noise, but that is what we came for. The food is authentic and often from tiny places that we would have never found ourselves. Mahmoud gave us the background and it was all very relaxed. Just what we needed on our first day.

City tour - Explore Egypt Tours have been fantastic and made our holiday truly memorable. Mariem (Tour Organiser), was very good at updating us and communicating everything we needed immediately. Samaa (tour guide) was fantastic, sharing her cultural insights and providing us with an interesting tour of Cairo city life. The food experiences were great. I would highly recommend this tour to immerse yourself into life in Cairo.

Cairo street food! - We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour through Cairo with Mahmoud. We had four street food stops (all great) plus a relaxing stop for mint tea when we had a chance to quiz each other about local life in our respective countries. It was fun observing daily life in Cairo while walking to each food stop. The evening walk through the bazaar and stop at the mosque was a lovely end to our day.

Brilliant food tour - must do! - This was a really amazing trip with Explore Egypt Tours. Mariem was really helpful in organise the details of our tour and we had a brilliant day with Mahmoud and our driver. Mahmoud took us to loads of great local spots to try delicious Egyptian cuisine. There were lots of stops to rest along the way and so much food to eat, were so full by the end. Mahmoud is a great guide and we had such a nice time chatting and getting to know him. I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone from solo female travellers to groups. We were really looked after from begging to end!

Amazing Egyptian street food tour - Loved the (food tour), where my tour guide (Email) took me to the old city center to try all the local foods, and we did lots of walking to experience the true Egyptian street food at night, thanks to (Hayam) my travel cosultante for organizing this so quickly 🙏👌

Fantastic First Day Activity! - A food tour is a great way to start the first day in a new place! Our travel consultant Hayam was a good communicator, answered my questions and made sure we knew what to expect on the day of our tour. Our tour guide Mahmoud was so much fun, and everything went smoothly. The food was all delicious, I think the first stop was my favorite. Our driver was friendly, prompt and safe. A special tour to taste the authentic food of Cairo - The food tour in Cairo with Aref Bakry was wonderful. We walked around the center, stopping in four very authentic places to try the local specialties and we were delighted with both the welcome and the delicious food. Aref is extremely competent and is an exceptional guide, who has managed to win over both adults and children!

Excellent food guide - I had a great tour with Mahmoud going through the city and eating great food. He explained his plan of where we were going to go and what we were going to eat and background about the food and what was special about it in Egypt. He was kind and willing to share not only about food in Egypt but about life in general and what Egypt is like. Everything was taken care of and delicious, I promise you will not be hungry when you are finished. Once we had a few different foods we walked about the city, looking through the big bazaar and going into the mosque of Al Hakem Bamr Allah. Truly a great time and a great way to spend an evening. I highly recommend it and I only wish I had more time.
