Augsburg is beautiful - The Augsburg city tour is great ! A local guide tours you around for 2 hours highlighting the city , including the history of the city.

Very good - Definitely do it! Also recommended for locals. Price too low! So sign up, there's no doubt about it!

Engaging, informative, entertaining - We had a very dedicated guide. After almost 2.5 hours we had a comprehensive overview of the history of Augsburg and the city's main sights. An entertaining and informative tour, definitely worth it at the start of a stay in Augsburg.

Great Tour! - The tour was nothing short of amazing. Our tour guide was superb and the information center went way out of there way to find an off-season tour guide who could give the tour in English. He was fantastic---funny, informed, indomitable in snow. It was a great tour that we highly recommend.

Worth a visit - Great tour and guide. Too much Fugher. Would have been nice to have more of the unique place Augsburg has in the Protestant movement and the origins of the Mortzart family. But overall a great tour and a city with a long history going back to Roman times.

Check event brochure (not trip advisor website) to ensure tour is in your specified language at your chosen time - Trip advisor website error, not program related. I specifically requested the tour in English but at the morning tours only German is available. We still went but one of our members does not speak German and was completely left out on the information. If in language, it is a very good tour.

Very sober, little humor. - It was my first experience with a classic tourist information tour. I have already been on a "free walking tour" twice. I liked that one better. The group was very large, around 22 people. It was often difficult to hear the guide.

Good not great - The guide was very knowledgeable; however, we paid for an English tour and our group was both German and English speaking. So he was giving the tour in 2 languages and the English version was short changed. Could use more stops of interest on the walk and shorter at the Fuggeteri

Only ok - Maybe I should qualify my review by saying it started in the afternoon of a cool,windy Fall day. The tour was advertised as in English but actually was in English and German. Our guide did her best but it slowed things a lot. We spent way too much time in the City Hall. Maybe that was to stay warm. We felt we could have learned more about the city than we got on this tour.

Not an English tour! - Awful, don’t be fooled, this is not an English tour! The guide arrived 15 minutes late, would talk for 5-10 minutes in German in front of the sites and if you wanted the English version, you needed to rush and walk next to her to the next site to have a 1 minute explanation. We have taken several excellent bilingual tours but this one was terrible!
