- Ijen Crater - The trekking will take about 1
2 hours, depending on your fitness. Upon your arrival at the top of the crater, you will be invited to see the most famous natural phenomenon of blue fire. It’s only 2 in the world, in Ijen Crater, Indonesia and Dallol Volcano, Ethiopia. But to see closer, you must go down into the crater of Ijen. It’s pretty dangerous, so if you feel doubt to go down, we suggest to stay on the top while waiting for the sunrise.
At about 6 am, you will see the best view of Mount Ijen, which is the turquoise color of the acid lake that makes the view more incredible.

END OF THE TOUR
- Important Information for all travellers who are going to book this trip: Every first Friday of the month, Mount Ijen is closed for one day. So, please make sure you check the date of your booking.
- We have info /update from Mount Ijen. Mount Ijen is not open at night due to volcano activity (toxic gas, lake water level). Hence, tourist is not allowed to visit at midnight to see blue fire/flame for safety reason. Only allowed to start hiking in the early morning at 4 am for sunrise, but you can still see the whole view from the top. and some miners too. We will start from Bali at 21:00.
- For now the trip is only for Sunrise trekking to Mount Ijen without blue flame.

Adventurous trip to East Java - Bali and East Java, both the places are beautiful and I got the best guide and travel companion , Mr. Yogi, Rico and Gufron. They made our journey to Indonesia more happening and exciting. I enjoyed every moment of the journey in Indonesia. Thank you for everything and hope I come visit Indonesia again in future. I loved being there and indeed the places, food and people. I enjoyed some of the best tropical fruits in Indonesia. I thank mr. Thank you Hamid! - We got picked up from Kuta Bali. Driver was amazing and on time very nice car. Our tour guide Hamid who came with us on the ferry to Java and back again was incredible, lovely Man. Would definitely recommend anyone to go with this company. Ended up being a private tour for just the two of us which we didn’t expect for same price as other group tours I had found. Blue Fire and views of Crater were insane.

Excellent service from this agency. - I booked a private trip to Kawah Ijen pickup from Banyuwangi Kota. Sofyan was really nice and explain everything about the trip to me. For me the price is worth the experiences i gain from this trip. The driver Mr Hendri also very kind. Mr Ari my guide was very kind and friendly. He always made sure that I didnt left behind during the hiking process to Kawah Ijen. And most importantly he help me to take a lot of good photos. And he did not mind, me teaching him on how to take good photos. He always ask if I was okay, during the trip, and help me to prepare a place for me to perform subuh prayer at the top of the mount. I was really grateful for it. And i'm looking forward to go Mount Bromo with this trip again. I hope Mr Ari will be my guide too. 😁

Fantastic company for Mt Ijen Blue Fire Hike - We were staying in Ubud and we came across Mt Ijen with the “Blue Fire” so after doing some research we decided to book our private trip with Java Adventure. The booking was very easy and we had a confirmation from Sofyan straight away with all the info we need for our trip. We have to say we both enjoyed our trip today.
Our driver Kadek came and collected us from our hotel in Ubud, he is very safe on the road and he looked after us when we got back from Java. Hamid our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and he made sure both my partner and I are ok on the trek. My other half didn’t go and see the blue fire but Hamid made sure he is safe while he took me down to the crater to see the blue fire. He really looked after me up and down those loose rocks and he is an amazing photographer too! Our driver Adi who transported us in Java is also wonderful, very polite and punctual.
Can’t fault the company and their wonderful staff. But be warned that there are thousands of Chinese tourists and they all seems to push each other out the way to get to the blue fire and up and down the slippery rocks, they just don’t give way to anyone! Make sure you use a company like this or have a guide like Hamid who knows what he is doing to guide you through. As I am quite unfit it was a very hard trek for me but I did it without paying for the “taxi” to push me uphill to the top.

Well organized and unforgettable trip - We did this tour from Banyuwangi.
Very well organized trip and unforgettable experience!
I would like to emphasize the amazing job done by our guide, Hamid. He was very friendly, shared a lot of knowledge and history of Ijen and also helped us to take great pictures!
What’s most important, since there were a looooot of people on that day, nevertheless Hamid perfectly understood our goal - that we want to be first to start from park entrance and first to reach blue fire before all the crowds, and he made that happen! He also chose the best spot for viewing the sunrise later on without too many people as well. Despite massive crowds, he made the trip look like we were the only one there :)
I would highly recommend choosing Hamid to be your guide :)

Great tour experience! - Amazing tour of the blue fire and crater at Mt Ijen. Kadek and Inggar were great drivers while Sigit was a patient and insightful guide who helped navigate the terrain and provide insights into Indonesian nature and culture.

Challenging but rewarding! - To do this tour in the middle of the night can be challenging but the experience and the pictures are absolutely worth it!
It was really much fun with the drivers Galih and Riski and especially with the guide Faruq. A very experienced guy who knows what he's doing and is just fun to be around with. I can definitely recommend!

Amazing! - A really great experience!
The whole tour was super organized and we did not have to worry at any time. The tour guide Hamid is world class, he knows a lot, looks that you are the first at the blue fire so you do not have to share the view with hundreds and makes great photos at appropriate places!
We are really satisfied all around and happy to have had such an ambitious Guide. Thanks a lot!

Once in a lifetime experience - Transport to and from the volcano was super comfy and well air-conditioned. With Hamid's expert guidance, we began hiking just before 2am and we were amongst the first to see the blue fire at the crater of the volcano. Many missed out because they simply started the hike too late and the blue fire is only visible at night. We made it to the back to the top of the crater for a breathtaking sunrise. Hamid showed us the best photo spots and went the extra mile to get us great videos and pictures. We were provided with some delicious, hot coffee which the experience even more surreal. The hike to the crater, back up and down the hill were tough for one of our party, but Hamid really helped by holding their hand at difficult times. We will never forget this incredible experience and we're so grateful to Hamid and the team for making it as easy and seamless as it could be 🙏
