Amazing Ijen Hike - Me and my girlfriend had the most amazing experience with our wonderful tour guide Tony and our driver Mr Rizal. It was very well organised with a timely pickup and handing of gas mask, head torch, hot drinks, water and snacks. Tony was very prompt and managed to get us right at the front of the trek and away from the large crowd for a more peaceful experience. The hike into Ijen crater itself was tough and a lot of caution needs to be advised when walking the rock path down as it can be very slippery with little safety features. However, the blue flames were breathtaking to see. The sunrise portion of the trek was also lovely as Tony took us to a secluded area to watch the sunrise which was breathtaking with a lovely view of Java and a mesmerising view of the crater from distance. Overall, an experience worth the money. I also want to say a special thank you to Tony who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to have a laugh.

One of the best Tours I have been - This is definitely one of the best tours I have done ! I'm so soo glad I have booked with them because they made the day more special than what already was! My partner and I did the hike on the day of my Birthday and my partner proposed to me on the top looking at the crater. Our guide help us all the way and was extremely kind , helpful and just such a nice person . He made sure we saw the blue fires ( you have to be quite quick going up the hike if you want to make sure you see them as they go away when the sun goes up) , so he helped us all the way along and took many pictures and video for us at the blue fire . He recorded the proposal and had all the patience for us to be in the moment and enjoy the place. On the way down , when we reached the camp ground , our guide give me a Birthday cake as a surprise and sang me Happy Birthday which was so nice of him and I will never forget how special they made me feel. We also went to fruit market and our guide got me delicious fruit to try and bot me a bag to take home ! If you want to have the best time and someone that cares about the small things, I recommend them 10000% and you will not regret it ! Thank you so much for being part of this amazing day

Great tour with Nido, the best guide ever - The organisation with East Java Paradise Travel was easy and very uncomolicated. We were picked up in our hotel on time and with Nido we had the best guide we ever had. He was funny, caring, and shared his experiences with us. He also helped us with translation so that we could buy some local fruits there. We had a great hike to the blue fire and were the happy ones who saw it. Thanks, Nido for this great experience.

Ijen Crater with Pick-Up in Banyuwangi and Drop-off in Bali - We are so grateful we found this tour company! We were picked up by a driver at 3 am at our hotel in Banyuwangi, with our luggage and everything, then taken to the Ijen Mountain, where a different tour guide met us and walked with us to the summit. The hike is not too hard and the views were absolutely stunning, while the guide was very approachable and knowledgeable and shared a lot of anecdotes with us. After the hike, we were given breakfast by the tour guides, then our driver took us to Ketapang port, purchased ferry tickets for us and made sure we got on the ferry. Once on Bali, we were picked up by another driver who took us straight to our guesthouse there. Communication through Whatsapp to get information and book the tour workes flawlessly, Yoga was always available when we reached out with questions. Everything was organized so well, everyone involved was super nice and we felt safe and taken care of. If you are looking to clim the Ijen and to transfer from Banyuwangi to Bali on the same day, I would 100% recommend booking with this company, you will not regret it!

Great tour, great guide, must see. - We went to Ijen in late April and this tour was amazing! Our guide was Pebri and he was so kind and knowledgeable. We were meant to be picked up at 2.30am to see the blue fire but it was closed as there were too many toxic gases where the blue fire normally is and the crater entry time was pushed back to 4am. So we changed our pickup to 6am as we needed some sleep and the only reason to get up early is to see the blue fire. Pebri and our driver Fredy had no problem with this and we're very accommodating. They were there right on time and brought us some food as well 👍 We drove to the crater parking which took about 30 mins and Pebri organised all the tickets and parking for us. We then started the hike up which is about 3.2km (5km around the rest of the rim) and 500mish of climbing. The views were amazing and Pebri pointed out the different mountains and how Ijen was formed. When we got to the top there was a lot of smoke from the crater so we couldn't see anything straight away. We put on our gas masks that Pebri bright for us where all the sulphur rock and mineral are and then walked around the rim of the crater. Pebri "whistled" the wind to come and blow the smoke away with a traditional Indonesian kind of "wind whistle", like a rain dance. It must have worked as eventually the wind came and blew way all the smoke and we got some fantastic pictures. Pebri knew exactly where to stand and how long to wait for. Turns out others had been waiting over 2 hours and we only had to wait 10 minutes whilst walking around the crater rim. Pebri took some awesome pictures and videos for us as well. When we were leaving, Pebri helped to book our ferry to Bali as well and then our taxi and second ferry to the hotel. He was so helpful. All in all a great experience, would definitely recommend to everyone who visits Java and especially Pebri, what a guide.

Beautiful natural site with a well-versed, friendly guide. - Amazing natural beauty, on the way up and at the top! Very unique site, and the tour guide was friendly and knew his way around, all of the best spots and people.
