Great day out - This a great walk that is expertly guided by Fermi. He is very knowledgable and passionate about the Monserrat region. You will need a little bit of fitness, but as any good guide does, he goes at your pace. The provided lunch was tasty. If you want to find the hidden gems of this area. the i cannot recommend them enough. Than you for a great day.

The most amazing experience! - I went for a guided Montserrat tour and it was the best guided tour I have ever booked 😁 I felt safe, but also challanged a bit (to climb some spectacular areas). I came back to hostel tired, happy and proud. Mix of fantastic emotions ❤️ Can't recommend Fermi enough. This trip could not be any better. Fantastic guide, fantastic time!

Amazing views! Perfect trip for hikers! - We ended up getting a personal tour of Monserrat from Femi as we were the only ones on the trip that day! Femi was great and took to three peaks all with amazing views. One was a place where there were no other tourists so you could really enjoy the tranquility. You could tell Femi loved Monserrat and he shared with us that he is aiming to climb every peak with his wife - I think they are currently on 170ish of 208!

Best Day Trip - If you love outdoors, this is a MUST. Our group of 5 hiked with Fermi in late May. We would never have experienced the trails like we did without his expertise. He knows that mountain well and guided us through an adventurous hike. You can take an "easier way" or the "not so easy" way. We chose "not so easy" and LOVED it. We felt safe and scrambled on the rocks. Excellent lunch was included and we even saw mountain goats. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic & Incredible day - Incredible views, our guide taking us off the tourist path, climbing to 4 peaks, unexpectedly coming upon mountain goats, peacefulness and stillness of our surroundings, learning about the hermitages/history/the plants and flowers, picking and eating wild asparagus!

Exceeded my expectations! - I thoroughly enjoyed the history and beautiful view of Montserrat. My guide was an experienced climber and very knowledgeable of the monastery. The goat encounter on the hiking descent was priceless!

Really great experience! - We went to Barcelona for vacation and near the end we wanted to see some of the beautifal nature scenery. Therefore we booked the hiking tour to Montserrat. We have to admit that this was one of the most beautiful landscape we have ever seen. Our guide was very professional and knew everything about these mountains. Since it was our first hiking trip we were unsure and felt uncomfortable in some situations. But our guide managed to lead us through the mountains with confidence and good sense of humor. Not only did he show us the beautiful views from these mountains but also told us a lot of the history of this place. We had a very good time here and would definitely consider to take another hiking tour in the near future. We absolutely recommend this tour!

Hiking Montserrat - This was a fabulous day spent with a friendly, upbeat guide fermi. Hike was challenging for me, but in a good way. He also brought the best picnic lunch ever! This trip was the high point of all my time in Barcelona area and I had plenty of amazing experiences in this town. Don’t miss this chance to see Monserrat on foot.

Not a good experience - My teenage daughters and I booked this trip for our last day on a 10-day trip to Spain. Unfortunately, we could not hike in the forest near Montserrat due to forest fire restrictions. Fermi found an alternative hike for us further north. Without telling us about the hike or asking us our comfort level or fitness level, he took us on a very strenuous hike up and down two mountains. It was extremely hot. While we had water and food, it wasn’t enough for the difficulty of the hike. My older daughter’s knee hurt due to the climbing up and down rocks; she has ACL reconstructive surgery on the knee and needs to be careful. After the trip I began vomiting due to dehydration. Once I got back to the US, I was hospitalized for dehydration. This was a bad way to end a great trip. I would not recommend this trip. It was a very bad experience. Lastly, Fermi’s English laungyage skills are sub-par. We could not understand him and he didn’t seem to understand us.
