- Mutianyu Great Wall - In the morning, your professional English speaking tour guide and driver with private car will come to pick you up from your hotel lobby. Then you will go to the Mutianyu Great Wall first (1.5 hours driving), which is further section in Beijing area and less crowed. This stretch of the Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings – dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of the year. It winds its way over 1000 meters to the crest of a mountain, before turning sharply and dipping downhill.
You’ll have around two hours to explore the Great Wall. It takes around half an hour to hike up on foot, or you can choose to take the cable car or chair lift: it’s also possible to toboggan.
- Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After your tasty lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the Summer Palace. It takes a bit over an hour to get there from the Great Wall. The Summer Palace was the royal garden in the past time. There are beautiful many pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and huge lake, and corridors. While the Long Corridor is the longest one in the world which is on the Genuineness World Records. You will also see famous Seventeen Arches Bridge, Qingyan Stone Boat, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill there.
After the tour. Then drive you back to the hotel.

Amazing trip to the Great Wall - We were lucky to have found Lily’s tour guide and got paired with tour guide Maggie for our trip to Summer Palace and the Great Wall. Maggie is an experienced guide who is punctual, friendly and enthusiastic. She shared her knowledge about the Summer Palace and Great Wall with us. The tour was well- paced and Maggie made sure that everything was taken care of, including tickets purchase, ordering lunch and even unreservedly helped us make a reservation for a dinner place. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thanks Maggie!

Excellent Experience - It was a great day. The tour guide William did an excellent job, good spoken English, very knowledgable and provided all needed historical facts in a clear manner. This section of the Great Wall was not crowded, which I really appreciated. The lunch was ok. The history facts about the Dragon Lady which were shared during the walk in the Summer Palace were interesting to learn. Thanks to the driver as well, the car was clean and he was driving safe. Definitely, would recommend booking a tour with them.

IT WAS AMAZING 🤩 🌟🇨🇳 - We had the pleasure of having Lucy as our tour guide to the Summer Palace and Great Wall of China. She was fantastic. She shared plenty about the history of China, including the various imperial dynasties. We were a family that ranged from 10 to 74 years old. Lucy adapted her commentary to suit the different ages. The local Chinese food was delicious, varied and fresh. The car was comfortable and clean. Lucy’s english was excellent and she was great company. 🇨🇳

Perfect day with a perfect guide. - Wow! What a great day! Lucy greeted us at our hotel and took us on an adventure through the Summer Palace and then on to the Great Wall. Lucy's English is excellent which allowed her to give outstanding commentary and historical information as well as on a range of topics relevant to the tour. I highly recommend her and won't hesitate to book her again next time I'm in Beijing.

Incredible day!! - We had the most fabulous day! Lucy is an amazing guide!! Her English is great and very easy to understand. She also has a delightful sense of humor. She has the right balance of information and storytelling. We never felt like we were getting blasted by facts and figures, and we ended the day with a deeper understanding of the incredible history around what we were looking at. Lucy looked after our every need. The sites were 'bucket-list' for us and didn't disappoint! I would do this tour again in another season just to see the changes in the landscape. It really was a magical day!

Wonderful experience and fantastic guide! - The guide, Lucy, headed the hotel on time. She had great knowledge about all the places we visited and I learned a lot about Chinese history from her, in addition to her perfect English, a rarity in China. Very good vehicle. The typical food was very good and plentiful too. The wall is wonderful and it was definitely the best tour I had in China. I totally suggest to take the toboggan on the way down!

Magical day with Maggie - Maggie was an absolute gem! Such a professional. She made us feel at ease right away! She called us in our hotel room the night before to confirm. She pick us up on time with a friendly smile. Her English was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We had an amazing time. So grateful to Maggie for helping us have a memorable trip! A Memorable Journey with Mr. Huang: A Guide, Artist, and Cultural Ambassador Extraordinaire - We had a wonderful time with Mr. Huang! He was always friendly and made sure we felt really comfortable. He was right on time getting us to and from the hotel, paying attention to every little thing to make our visit to the Great Wall of China and the Summer Palace truly special. When we visited historical sites, he told us stories about each place in a clear and interesting way. Not only is he a great guide, but he's also a talented artist (Chinese calligrapher), and we were so impressed by his beautiful work. Traveling with Mr. Hu was a breeze – he drove us around safely in a clean car, with just the right temperature, and always had water and tissues ready. And let's not forget the delicious lunch at a local Chinese spot, a real treat that let us experience even more of this amazing country's culture.

A great day on the Great Wall! - It was amazing! Our tour guide spoke perfect English and knew all the best places to take photos with the Great Wall in the background. She was also fun and had a good sense of humor. Our driver was also very good and he had a big clean and comfortable car. I would strongly recommend this tour. Lunch was included and the food was delicious even for me, a picky eater. It was a very special day for both my wife and I. We would definitely use them again!
