Great experience! - Amazing tour guide by Wez. Helped us a lot with wheelchair assistance and a great sense of humour. If you’re going to hop on any of the buses try and get Wez.

What an awesome day !!!! - We did the tour of the city of Honolulu, The Punchbowl Cemetery, Pearl Harbor (including the USS Arizona), USS Missouri, Pacific Aviation Museum (including lunch)... It was fantastic - our tour guide/driver (Garfield) was THE best ever !!! Extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about all the areas we visited, he MADE the trip unforgettable... Of course, the Arizona was the highlight of the tour, so emotional and heart-wrenching... The ABSOLUTE highlight of a great week for our family on Oahu!!!

The Honolulu City Tour is great! - I liked how we had time to stop at a couple of places instead of just being in the bus the entire time without getting out (besides getting off). I'm also fond of the fact we can eat/drink on the bus. I think those kinds of things should stay in thr tour.

Pacific Aviation Museum and Pearl Harbour Tour - First stop was the Pacific Aviation Museum. The volunteer staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was interesting to hear about the aircrafts, pilots and tragic events that happened on 7th December 1941. The windows in Hangar 79 still have bullet holes left by the Japanese attack. Our tour continued at the Visitor Center where a short film was shown on the Pearl Harbour attack. We then boarded a US Navy boat to ride over to the USS Arizona Memorial. Unfortunately due to structural damage it was closed. The information and displays at the Visitor Center are outstanding. Our tour guide was very informative when driving us through Punchbowl Cemetery and Downtown Honolulu. Overall the tour was good however we would have appreciated an extra hour or two at Pearl Harbor as we missed so much due to lack of time.

Should have done it ourselves - We booked the trip back in the UK through the fight centre. Very mixed review on Polyad. They are not patient with pick ups and we nearly didn’t get picked up even though we were in the correct location - many people missed the pick up as they do not wait even 1 minute over the pick up time or let you know where they have parked. We were picked up at 7am from our hotel to be driven around for 15 minutes and transferred to another coach literally across the road from our hotel. The tour guide wasn’t the most engaging and we added an hour on to the beginning of the trip by doing an airport pick up. The tour guide doesn’t actually do any guided tours - they drive you to the memorial sights and pick you up. After visiting the Arizona memorial we waited half an hour for a couple who didn’t come back. The tour guide didn’t take this opportunity to make sure everyone checked their bags in whilst we waited but did it once he decided they weren’t coming back. This meant another half an hour wait whilst people checked in their bag. So an hour after we got back into the coach from the Arizona memorial we left for next stop. We then dropped off a small amount of the tour for a booked lunch meaning we had to wait at the next stop for 2 hours so they could do lunch and the tour. This meant we would have left for the Punchbowl at 2:15. The tour was supposed to finish at 2:30. As we were on a tight schedule we decided that after the Missouri Ship tour we would take an Uber home - meaning we missed the city tour and the Punchbowl which is a shame. It is very easy to do Pearl Harbour yourself and all you gain by going on this tour is hours of waiting for people and driving around aimlessly. We have never left a tour early but this one we were very keen to get away and do it ourselves - we even accepted the extra $30 for an Uber home. All in all pretty disappointing and not worth your precious holiday time! The bus there costs $5.50 both ways and it’s easy to navigate the memorials yourself.
