Trustworthy and engaging history lesson during a beautiful walk - Mark sets the scene and include you - also foreigners - well into the history/his narrative - also offering some background before the tour started for all to appreciate the historical scenes to unfold. The time is very well spent, and Mark is engaged, trustworthy, speaks clearly and is very knowledgeable, when conveying the stories related to the various sights, adding on a bit extra compared to the official Freedom Trail. Since I unfortunately didn't do my homework good enough, I missed out on the limited opening hours to revisit and climb the Bunker Hill Monument on the very end point of the trail; do not do the same mistake as I did, returning too late after enjoying the visit at Old Ironside where the tour concluded; its museum has longer opening hours than the Bunker Hill Monument. PS! Remember your 'Passport' for stamps (lots of national monuments on the trail, most which you will need to revisit later/the next day for sufficient time to enjoy).

Super informative tour of the entire Freedom Trail. - This was a very informative tour. Mark is well educated and speaks very clearly for all to understand. Mark tied each of the stops together so when we arrived at a stop we already had references to the people and events that occurred previously. He connected the dots well.

Great tour -- even my teenagers enjoyed it - This tour was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. Mark is outstanding and is an encyclopedia of knowledge. It is a longer tour, but very interesting. While my teenagers (12 - 15 yrs) were tired from the walking, they actually paid attention and are still talking about what they learned. The fact that they remembered the stories greatly compliments Mark because they are teenagers and are not very impressed by educational events. There is so much packed into a short time. This tour was better than an entire year of history class. Additionally, Mark is very organized and excellent at communicating about the tour before the tour day. He also has a "no tipping' policy which is very unusual compared to other tours we have attended. If anyone deserves it, he does! Thanks again, Mark.

Fredom Trail - Our guide was fantastic! Very passionate about Boston and presenting the facts. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk up and down slight hills and sometimes uneven walking surfaces. This is not a difficult walk but it is 2.5 miles on historic city streets built a long time ago. I would bring a protein bar or small snack. Our tour was from 10:00 to 2:00 and the restroom break in Faneuil Hall Only found candy bars as a snack. The tour ends at old Iron sides which is great, but be prepared to walk back or use a ride share. The hop on and off trolley was available: we enjoyed the scenery so much we walked back so we could enjoy pizza iat Regina’s in the North End(little Italy). We also wanted to go inside at the North Church and Paul Revere’s home. The tour was awesome but the only part that included an interior tour was Old Ironsides. Enjoy Boston it is a great historical city!

We chose the right tour!! - This tour was incredible! I grew up in New England but my husband did not, he has always wanted to visit the revolutionary war sites in boston and this was a birthday gift for him. We chose Mark as a tour guide because he had the most in depth tour of any others we could find. I knew this would be perfect for my husband but wondered if it would feel a bit long to me - It did not. I loved every minute. I was sad for it to end. It truly felt like we had gone back in time to experience Boston in the 1770's. I learned so much neither of us knew and was completely drawn in the entire time and inspired! We both agreed we would love to take the tour all over again just to take notes. The history along this tour is powerful and Mark is so thoughtful and thorough in his portrayal of it. We absolutely couldn't be happier with our choice in tour guide or our experience.
