Best way to see All of Romania - This tour is the best way to see the whole country of Romania! While you may want to see more of what's in the big cities of Romania, no other tour provides such a comprehensive tour experience of the whole country seeing a little bit of everything, and in most locations, everything you'd want to see if you didn't book this comprehensive tour. My tour guide was Emil. He was especially great. His knowledge of history, local traditions, and local jokes added immensely to the experience. Plus, he's an excellent driver. I was adopted from Romania at 2 years old; this trip was my first time coming back to Romania since being adopted and it was everything I hoped it would be - a comprehensive experience to see and learn about the people, history, food, and culture of Romania.

Exceeded Expectations on Every Level - The tour company is outstanding. Everything was excellent from Airport transfers to our guide Marcel. The company was extremely helpful prior to the trip; answering promptly and completely and securing an extra night for us at the end and ensuring we could stay in the same room. Airport transfers were extremely smooth, even our 3 AM pick up for our return flight. The drivers were polite, the car was spotless and they were on time. The itinerary was amazing showing us the beauty and diversity of the country, from natural wonders, castles, churches, small villages and beautiful historic cities and towns. A perfect route and selection of the many of the best things to do and see. The tour is packed with sights, views and beautiful drives. The only downside is that you are only in a hotel for one night but it is the only way to see as much as we did in 10 days. The hotels were 4 star, unique and located in the perfect location. Our guide, Marcel Ene is a gem. He made the trip perfect in everyway. He was knowledgeable, funny, courteous, helpful and engaging. He told us personal stories to help us gain a deeper understand of the culture, the people and the country. It was like touring with a friend, which he was by the end of the tour. The company and guide pay attention to details to make sure that everything about the trip is memorable and perfect. Romania and Rolandia should be on your bucket list.

A highly recommended experience - My main tip to those thinking of going to Romania is do it! We knew very little about the country so it was a real eye-opener: a beautiful country with such friendly people. And such a varied history from Michael the Brave and Vlad the Impaler to the Ceausescu Regime and recovery into a thriving country. We were delighted by the service we received from Rolandia, especially our guide/driver Marcel, who was a font of knowledge and made it his aim that we got the most out of every hour. But if you want some other tips: ..Learn the basics of please, thank you, greetings for morning, afternoon and evening etc. .. Do a bit of research into the history before you go so you know more than Ceausescu's death on Christmas Day!

One in a lifetime Romanian tour - We wanted to share our appreciation to Rolandia for a wonderful trip. Not only was the original plan just great, Nicu with Rolandia was also able to help us save our trip when we experienced a hiccup with travel. I can honestly say that there was not one negative that we experienced on the tour. All the accommodations were indeed 4-star and we enjoyed our stay at each. The planned visits were all exceptional and really did a great job of giving us a true picture of all that Romania has to offer. Between the history and the art and architecture and natural beauty we felt it was a very complete itinerary. Lastly, our guide Gelu did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed our trip and left us with an even greater appreciation for Romania. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight at all the planned stops. In addition, he has worked to cultivate some additional contacts around the country and shared with us some additional sights and tidbits not on the original itinerary. Highlighs of Romania in 10 days! - My friends and I visited Romania last month and we were impressed by the beautiful contrast between villages and modern life, good food and friendly people! Hotels were very nice, all in the center and with good breakfast. I loved the villages the most, especially in Bukovina region, where time seems like it stopped. Thanks guys for this great trip!
