The excursion proceeds to ‘Islamic Cairo’, where you’ll stroll through the thousand-year-old ‘el Moez’ street, regarded as an alfresco museum of superb Islamic Buildings adorned with various designs and colors. Our journey concludes with a visit to the immense Khan el Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s top sites. The Khan el Khalili district was initially a tomb known as ‘el Zaafran’ for the interment of Fatimid Caliphs, and it’s replete with cafes serving Arabic coffee, establishments offering Hookah ‘Shisha’, and dining options aplenty.
