You will start the city tour by private vehicle with your guide.\n\nFirstly you will head to Three Gorges Museum that is a must-see site in Chonging housing the relics from stone age to Qing Dynasty. The exhibitions for Three Gorges Project, and the Anti-Japanese Period are impressive in the museum.\n- Ciqikou (Porcelain Port) - Then you will go to the old town of Ciqikou. Located by the Jialin River, Ciqikou town is a well-known port since ancient time. Today there are well-preserved old buildings, shops, restaurants etc. You will enjoy the local life in this old town.\n\nYou will enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant.\n- Yangtze River Cableway - In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Road Zhongshansi, there are old offices to commemorate the period of Anti-Japanese during Second World War. Ancient - Ciqikou is a very old part of Chongqing, it is very ancient but lively. I thing it is older than Chongqing is . The are I seen was like an alleyway lined with vendors mostly selling many different Chinese foods. It should be on your list of things to tour if you get the chance.

Interesting old town. - This is a place one should visit when you are in Chongqing. It used to be better. With some refurbishment, the roads are better but many shops have disappeared. Now, many shops sell the same stuff - peanuts & sesame candies & also their special "Ma Lak" chillies. It would be good if there is a control as to the number of shops selling the same things. My friends & I always enjoy seeing how the peanuts & sesame Candies, and the special "chilly blocks" are made. These are the spices where you can do your own Hot-Pot at home. An interest place to visit to see the Art & Craft industry too!
