Frades Island Tour @passeiosidf - I highly recommend the private tour to Ilha de Frades with the company @passeiosidf. The boat pilot "O Marujo" is very different, patient and I always ask Neto to make the tour more relaxed, in addition to recommending the lunch, which was top notch.

Wonderful guide and beautiful beaches - This was one of my favorite experiences while in Bahía. Our guide, Wilson was incredibly friendly, patient, and kind as he guided us to the boat and translated everything the boat captain was saying. Wilson is also incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of this place. I enjoyed learning about the origins of the samba music that we were listening to during the boat ride. The samba musicians were friendly and played great music. The first island we went to had the most amazing beach - I could have spent many days there if I could, as the water was so calm and warm. The lunch we had at the second island was delicious. We sailed back as the sun was setting and got amazing views from the water. Our group can call Wilson a friend, because we had so much fun getting to know him and truly enjoyed his company.

Island Getaway - Beautiful beaches and secluded, if You like that. Had the whole beach to ourselves. May have been 10 other people on the whole beach. Only complaint was the long wait to get back on ferry to Salvador

Overpriced for tourists - This tour is definitely overpriced for tourists. You can get on the same tour by going to the port and purchasing it there. A friend of mine ended up on the same boat as me but only paid AR$60. Even though we indicated English on the form, all instruction on the boat were in Portuguese. With all that said, I highly recommend this tour because the beaches were very nice and relaxing. The boat ride was also fun with a live band entertaining the passengers, and the food (buffet which was not included in the price) was amazing.

First part very good. Second disapointing - First stop at Ilha dos Frades, very good beach, scenery and strucure. Second at Itaparica, just a tourist trap. Nothing more than a strip of sand and a restaurant. Beach just average. Not even a pier. Need to take small and less secure boat.
