Sacred Valley tour - The Sacred Valley of the Incas was amazing! Great viewpoints (mirador) along the route which took us from Cusco to Pisaq, then Ollantaytambo via Urubamba. The ruins at both these sites were breathtaking and Efrain our guide (Wakas Adventure) walked us through both sites, telling us about the significance of the different structures. Good hour or so long hike with amazing views and architectural details. Despite heavy rainfall we also stopped at the textile center at Chinchero which was a nice experience, fascinating to see how the locals make bright color dyes from plants, vegetables and other organic. Efrain is a very knowledgeable, communicative and punctual guide and was very flexible with our schedule. Made for an unforgettable experience and great start for our subsequent Inca Trail hike!
