Embark on an adventure within Kompong Khleang and Tonle Sap Lake, a biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO. Our local guides, who are village residents, provide captivating understanding about life on the Lake, a significant part of Cambodia. We can pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM or another suitable time. Morning tours include a visit to a local residence to learn and participate in the art of traditional incense rolling, a dying trade in Cambodia. Following that, venture to a local bakery to taste popular Cambodian treats and assist in preparing palm sugar donuts. Upon reaching Kompong Khleang, sail through a village that has a population of 14,000. Pause at a Buddhist pagoda, if you like, for a blessing. Next, visit a house on stilts to interact with a local family. The voyage continues with a visit to the majestic Tonle Sap lake and a glimpse of Vietnamese & Khmer floating villages. Tours in the afternoon delight in the sunset.
