Real Deal Truffle Hunt - Highlight of our stay in Tuscany . We hunted white summer truffles with Francesco the truffle hunter along with 3 dogs . We went through dense forest so was the real deal ( recommend wearing shoes for walking through forest and long pants ) We then went on to have lunch with Christian our guide and visited historic San Gimignano which was also great . Christian was very knowledgeable on the history and was an excellent guide and driver . Although the lunch was very nice the only drawback was there could have been more truffles on meals ( I am a truffle fiend) but all in all a really great day . Highly recommend

Truly the best excursion while we were in Italy. They made us feel like family. - This was the best excursion we went on while in Italy. It was truly a magical day. Our driver Max was so great. He found out we were in Florence for the Cure concert and we loved 80s music so when he came back to pick us up he had made an 80s mix to share with us and our daughter. We jammed to great music and shared stories as we drove. The truffle hunting was fantastic, Lucas and his father Luigi were so nice and educated us on the art of truffle hunting. I love their attitude towards the land and maintaining nature. Richola their dog found 3 black truffles and 1 white one fairly quickly. We then went to lunch at their outdoor patio/kitchen. It was heaven on earth. Max said it was one of the nicest places he has seen. We ate an amazing lunch prepared by Antonella and her mother in law Giuseppina. We sat and ate and visited while looking out over their orchards and olive grove. They truly made us feel like family. Max then took us to the Medieval city close by. At the gelato shop in the city square I highly recommend the Italian Garden gelato. It has tomatoes and basil in it. Sounds weird but it was amazing. We then stopped by a local Vinyard and purchased some 12 year old aged balsamic vinegar. This was truly the highlight of our trip. Thanks.

A great day with DELICIOUS truffles - Our tour was fantastic! Our driver, Guido, was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the history of Florence. Francesco and his truffle dogs were the best, and they even managed to find multiple white truffles in the off season. We loved seeing the dogs search for truffles and then wag their tails and start digging when they sniffed something. We then had an amazing private lunch - pasta, carpaccio, and eggs all served with the truffles we found that day! We concluded the day at San Gimignano where we had world champion gelato that was delicious - and so many unique flavors! Overall, the tour was fantastic and the logistics (drop off, pick up) were easy. Our guides were amazing, and I would highly recommend this tour.

Our favorite tour! - Franchesco's dog found handfuls of truffles and we really enjoyed eating them! It was like being hosted by a friendly Italian with a cupboard full of truffles. Great tour with San Gimignano as a bonus.

LOVED IT - This was a phenomenal experience. We met at the meeting point and my husband and I had a car to ourselves that drove us to Certaldo, about an hour away from Florence. There we met Luca, part of the family of truffle hunting, wine making, farm owning, cooking school of Cucina Giuseppina. He explained to us all the different types of truffles and brought us to his family farm. We were joined by another couple and we set off to truffle hunt with the expert, Luca’s father, luigi and truffle hunting dog expert, Richollo. It was an AMAZING experience to learn about how Richollo is trained and see him in action. He found six truffles in under an hour while we followed in amazement and learned more about truffle hunting. This was then followed by the best meal we have had in Italy, cooked by Luca’s brother Simoné complemented with products from the family’s farm and their own wine as well. With a beautiful view and a beautiful meal and the sweetest dog, how could one not LOVE this tour and day. It was a true family experience. We will definitely come back. Our tour then took us to the medieval town of San Gimignano where we had world champion gelato and could definitely see why! We were given about an hour of free time to enjoy that and the views of the country side offer. We were then brought back to our starting point. Amazing amazing tour.
