Well done Gibbston Valley Winery. - I had the pleasure of being with a group of American post graduate students from Virginia visiting the Gibbston Valley Winery as part of their stay here in Queenstown. We spent about 4 hours there, having lunch, listening to the professional and passionate Chris Keys talk about wine making and then touring the cave with Jake. The whole experience was so special and the way staff managed the visitor experience was benchmark "stuff." Thanks to all the wait staff as well as our guides Jake and Chris...a special day at a special place.

Amazing day at the winery - We had an amazing day at the winery. We booked a Winery tour including transport from Queenstown and it was perfect. Since we both could really enjoy the tastings (we ended up doing one extra tasting before the tour started) without worrying about driving. The hosts were wonderful and we learned a lot about their wines, which tasted amazing as well. We really enjoyed the tour and the day at the winery. 10/10 experience!

A beautiful winery to visit in a group or flying solo. My absolute favourite wine. - I took a solo day here and had a fantastic day. All the staff members are very informative and helpful. I did the wine cave and cheese tasting tour. Our host was able to explain everything well and appeared to have a passion for what he did. The wine is absolutely beautiful. Something for all tastes but the bubbles are a must try.

Remarkable winery tour - The whole package covered the pickup from the town, winery tour, and tasting. The driver George and the tour guide are amazing and considerate. They could answer all kinds of questions related to the town and the winery. The wine tasting can be customised based on our own preference, so we tasted 2 different Pinot Noir instead of rose. Thanks so much having us!

Wine and cheese galore - We loved our wine and cheese tasting. Our guide took us in the cave and explained all about the history of the vineyard, the area in New Zealand, all of the different wines they produce and co-produce, and how to pair wines with cheese. After our tour we had a wine flight and a cheese plate for lunch in their outside seating area. I highly recommend this place while visiting Queenstown.

Excellent winery tour - Excellent tour with Brooke. She was very informative about the process of making the wine and we loved the wine tasting in the cave. We had a great time and included transport from Queenstown, which worked very well.

Pretty good value but mixed feelings - Tasting was too fast (something like 3 minutes max per glass) without the classic see-smell-taste way but good explanation of the functioning of the property

Pinot noirs were disappointing and service was below expectation - $25 wine tasting was a waste of time. Our group of six felt like we were rushed in that out of the place. The server seemed put out to describe the wines when asked. Worst of all, the tasting fee could not be applied to a wine purchase.
