Highlights
  • Old Spitalfields Market - This is where we meet for our public street art tours
  • Brick Lane - We walk to Brick Lane (NOT the police station) via side streets to look at many locations where we see street art, some low down, some up high, some small bronze castings, some huge murals 3 stories tall.
  • Shoreditch - The tour continues heading up into Shoreditch where we continue to explore the latest in the ever changing display of street art and graffiti. Luckily as the guide is totally immersed in the culture and specialises only in this subject, not only does the guide know where to find the art but will be able to identify, interpret and explain the street art, even brand new stuff that might only be minutes or hours old

What an informative, diverse and fun tour this was - My brother and I did the Shoreditch Street Art tour this morning, lead by Dave. We walked through Shoreditch stopping to look at a wide variety of street art by local and international artists. I never realised that there are such a wide range of styles and media employed in street art. Spray cans, acrylic paint with brush and roller, marker pen. Examples of the use of stickers, stencils, metal sculptures, posters and grafitti were also seen. Dave was a considerate, polite and easygoing tour leader who shared his extensive knowledge of street art. I highly recommend this tour. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Great tour that hugely exceeded expectations! - What a great tour. Much talent on view and really bought to life by a great tour guide - as it turned out an accomplished artist himself. Toured much of Brick Lane, Truman Brewary and up to Old Street. Can’t say enough good things about this tour. Great value for money.

Really Interesting and Fun Work Event - Did the walk with John after a day of work offsite meetings. Helped that is was a nice balmy evening but seeing the different types of street art and a few original ye olde Banksy works was great. Very informative, good fun and not too long or self-indulgent! Would definitely recommend it and a trip to the pub afterwards.

Great tour - highly recommed - Highly recommended. The tour guide is very knowledgeable on his subject and presents the information in a very engaging way. The tour lasted approximately 3 hours but covered a relatively small area of streets, so we didn't have to walk great distances - the street art being so dense in this area. We were lucky enough to see 2 well known street artists in action during the tour and also to see several street art works by Banksy.

So Much To See - Seeing Banksy and making the connection with Barak Obama’s presidential campaign with street artist Shepard Fairey. Suggestions: -pit stop for coffee, it was chilly and wet -since you have so many connections with the street artists, have a meet and greet with a couple of them, watch them put something up or visit an artist’s shop if available
