Highlights
- Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Hawa Mahal, is an iconic architectural marvel and a prominent tourist attraction in the city. Also known as the “Palace of Winds,” it was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the ruler of Jaipur. The mahal was designed by Lal Chand Usta, an architect in the court of the Maharaja.
Designed in the Rajput architectural style and is made of pink sandstone. The purpose behind the construction of Hawa Mahal was to provide a grandstand view for the royal ladies of the court to observe everyday life and processions on the bustling streets below without being seen themselves, as they followed strict purdah (veiling) customs.
The design of Hawa Mahal is inspired by the crown of Lord Krishna. The windows not only allowed a gentle flow of air through the palace, keeping it cool during the scorching summer months, the interior of the Hawa Mahal is relatively simple, with a series of chambers and passages that were once used by the royal family.

Perfectly balanced tour - Vivek did a really great job of taking us around best spots and giving insight to their history, without overwhelming us with too much information, was really enjoyable!

Legendary Experience! - We had a memorable and epic experience in Jaipur! Our guide was passionate, extremely knowledgeable, warm, and friendly! He shared great stories, knew all the secret, local spots and best places for photos.
I highly recommend Rajasthan Cultural tours and will be using them again next time!

Jaipur was the best time of our life - We had a guide. He made all our wishes come true and more. A guide is a must. Without a guide we would be lost like in a labirinth, we would be a target for cheaters, we would come to many closed doors and waste our precious time, because the guide knows when the buildings are open. Also a guide knows and can take you to amazing places, restaraunts... and can tell you stories about places and their history. It was really amazing! We fell in love with Jaipur and we will take the same guide next time we come to Jaipur. He made our trip so much easier and safer. It was priceless. Jaipur is really amazing place. There is so much to see and experience. The people were very kind and jolly, our children enjoyed the animals on the streets and the history and architecture, culture and piety, shopping and food, we loved it all. Take your time for a visit. That was our only regret, that our visit was too short.

Best experience of Jaipur - We had the most amazing time touring Jaipur with Vivek. I have visited Jaipur before but with Vivek’s experience and knowledge I felt like I was seeing it for the first time again. He knows all the hidden gems, the best places to eat, and he tailors the perfect shopping experiences no matter what you are searching for. He also knows the best places for amazing photos! Highly recommend if you are planning to visit Jaipur to see it with Vivek!

Fantastic guide - Vivek is one of the best tour guides I have had on any trip. He is extremely knowledgeable about Jaipur's history and architecture and offered many interesting insights into the places we visited. Also, he made sure we got to see everything before they became too crowded. I would definitely book Vivek again for a return trip to Rajasthan. 100% recommend.

Friendly Knowledgeable Tour Guide - Vivek was a fantastic guide in Jaipur. He was able to teach us the rich history of the pink city and the various landmarks and also made sure to give us great recommends for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend to anyone!

Vivek is an awesome guide - Vivek was a great guide, showing me all the weird and wonderful sides of Jaipur. He told interesting stories, helped me to avoid the heavy crowds and made the entry/exit from each of the sites totally hassle free.
I would highly recommend if you, like me, want to just relax and enjoy the best of Jaipur. Leave all the organisation to Vivek, he’s the man!

A day in Jaipur full of cultural and historic highlights!! - Overall, very happy with our experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, flexible with the itenary (he added a few more things to our schedule after discussion with us) and approachable and friendly! Good level of English! Great food suggestions too!

Fell in love with Rajasthan with an amazing guide - Our tour guide was just amazing...his knowledge about history is very deep and his English is very good.He was taking us to very interesting places in Jaipur and showed us local restaurants.
He is very easy going not putting any pressure and gives you choices.
