Inspired by the unique structure of Khetri Mahal, Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh built this beautiful structure in 1799 with the intent to allow royal women to have a view of the daily activities on the streets without being seen. The 5 storied stunning semi-octagonal monument having 152 windows with overhanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of Rajput architecture.
