A Thrilling Sky-High Adventure with the Everest Helicopter Tour! - The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour provided an exhilarating way to witness the grandeur of the Himalayas, enriched by the dynamics of multiple take-offs and landings which added an exciting pulse to the entire experience. Having the opportunity to sit up front was a delight; to my surprise, the captain conversed fluently in Russian, which added a personalized touch to the flight. The tour offered some spectacular views, especially from the restaurant at the Everest View Hotel, where the stunning vista makes you wish you could stay longer. It’s tantalizing to think about the potential of staying overnight at the hotel, and I hope in the future they might consider offering a tour option that includes an overnight stay with a next-day helicopter pick-up. Flying low over the landscape, the tour afforded us crystal-clear views of the undulating hills and towering mountains, a stark contrast to the haziness we experienced back in Kathmandu. Up here, the sky was remarkably clear and the weather warmly inviting. However, there’s room for improvement regarding the scheduling of the flights. We spent a significant amount of time waiting for our helicopter while others were simultaneously taking off, which was a bit confusing. Moreover, clearer communication about the seating arrangements at the beginning of the tour would enhance the experience. A simple seating map provided for each flight segment could easily remedy this confusion. In conclusion, despite a few logistical tweaks needed, the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour was an unforgettable journey that offered unique perspectives of the world’s most famous mountain range. It’s an exceptional experience that adventurous souls and nature lovers would find deeply rewarding. This review incorporates your experiences and observations. You can tweak it further to better match your voice or any additional details you recall from your trip!

Wonderful service and experience - From the veery beginning Buddhi made sure everything was well taken care of and that I knew what to expect on the trip. Neither of us could predict that the weather would rapidly change and our small tour group would have to spend the night in the Himalayans mountains. But again, Buddhi made sure everything was taken care of. He secured a local guide to take us to a small and authentic village to stay in a Tea House which was fabulous. The hosts were so hospitable and place was amazing as was the food. our guide took us back to the pick-up point the next morning in what was a wonderfully little hike with clear skies and stunning views. Even though the weather unexpectedly changed our plans, Buddhi stayed in touch with us through the entire time and had everting under control even helping me extend my hotel. All of our group suggested to Buddhi that they should add an overnight stay to their package. It was an amazing experience. The way they took care of use shows how much they are committed to customer service.

Magnificent experience in the Himalayas - High service, feeling of security regarding helicopter and pilot. The experience is magnificent in terms of having time to see and take part in a lot in a short time. Everest, base camp, mountain villages, views... A memory for life. Booked the trip by "Buddhi", who was very good and pleasant.

Brilliant - Pretty much everything was memorable. Once in a lifetime trip. All was explained to us by our guide, and the helicopter pilots checked on the passengers a few times. My suggestion to others is just be prepared mentally to stick it out if you're not the best flyer. Don't do this if you're bored, or not sure. Once you're up the helicopter pilots can't do much until you land at the next prepared stop.

New core memory formed - What can I say about this experience that will do it justice. Let’s start with the booking: I was a solo traveler to Katmandu on a weekend impulse trip. As such was on high alert for scams and over pricing. Contacted Buddhi on WhatsApp and next thing I know he is at my hotel on Friday evening walking me through the whole process. No pressure tactics, it was so refreshing The man is an absolute treasure. If you are in Kathmandu not only do I recommend him but it’s the only way to plan your excursions. As far as the activity itself, I did not think it was possible to form core memories at 45 but the entire event plays plays in front of my eyes every time I close them. This particular experience does not land on Kalapatthar but rather in Pheriche. Having seen user photos of Kalapatthar and having experienced Pheriche I can say with certainty the latter is the better option. We had 2 hours at Everest hotel due to the pilot making another run and I would say it was the perfect amount of time at hotel Everest view . The official time of 45 minutes is too short. Our entire group of 5 explored and goofed off for a solid hour. As far as the fly by base camp and Everest, as one of my fellow traveler put it: it’s like being on another planet. We were at 19500 feet and it towered over us. It was surreal to see the yellow tents of base camp and the khumbu ice falls live after seeing documentaries over the decades. This experience is definitely worth it. And even though expensive has almost 2 hours of helicopter airtime. Compare that to 15-20 mins in New York for 300. Truly a larger than life experience.
