My Koya May 2024 - Our guide Emi was very prompt in picking us up at our hotel. She was very capable of navigating the train station and tickets etc. including the cable car up to Mt Koya. She knew so much about the area and the history. She was a wealth of knowledge when we went thru the very old cemetery. She was a delight. We had a wonderful lunch with her as well. She knew the bus stops to the cemetery and the temples we visited. We could not have enjoyed this as much if it were not for Emi. I would highly recommend her for any tour. She is delightful.

Mt Koya is a magical, spiritual place - My family and two family friends and I went to Mt Koya with our guide, Maya. Maya was very knowledgeable about the sites at Mt Koya and helped to explain the customs that we witnessed there. It was a magical and spiritual experience. I highly recommend this tour! Also, we booked a private taxi which saved a lot of time getting to Mt Koya and getting around the various sites. I highly recommend asking your guide for a private taxi.

Great daytrip with great guide (good English) - Mr. Hideo Yoshida was amazing. He was very fast and took us from our hotel deep into the mountains to Koyasan. He had a good English and was eager to explain all the historical facts about the place. We like to walk and he was explaining what we saw even with pictures and explanations that he brought with him. Ask specifically for him to the agency.
