Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Algarve by taking part in our trek through the breathtaking 7 hanging valleys trail, and cap it off with a wonderful boat trip to see the renowned Benagil caves.
This picturesque trail is located in the vicinity of Carvoeiro and includes various distinctive stopover points at beaches like Benagil and Carvalho, among several others. The journey takes place atop the shoreline cliffs known for their intricately carved forms and vibrant ocher and golden cliffs.
The expedition is guided by a seasoned leader. Upon the trail’s conclusion, you will enjoy some leisure time in Ferragudo, where you can grab a bite or simply stroll around.
Our following adventure entails an exploration of the stunning Algarve grottoes aboard our comfy boats! We set sail from Portimão and gently cruise to Algar Seco and Benagil, venturing into diverse caves.

A day to remember. - After having done the safari (highly recommend) with my wife, we had friends over and took this trip.
Nelson guided a perfect trip , and we saw the majestical caves! He shares a good sense of humor and told great stories!
Highly recommend this experience, solo, with your lover or as a group!

Awesome Experience - This was my favourite excursion I went on while in the Algarve. The hike was fantastic and our guide Michael was incredible. He made sure to go at a pace that was comfortable for the group and provided excellent comments on all the sights. To see the caves from the water was breathtaking, I’m so glad I did this tour. Kudos to Michael, George, and Lorenzo for a memorable day!

Amazing experience! - Wow. What a great day!
Our guides - Luis and George - were very knowledgeable, patient and professional. Always willing to share their history and culture, with a great sense of humour. The hike through the valleys was incredible. We spent 20 minutes waiting for a connecting ride at a popular diner. Great service and a cold refreshment!
We then drove to Ferragudo for lunch. Excellent selection of vendors. We ate an awesome assortment of seafood.
We then drove to the marina and boarded our boat to view the Benagil grottoes. The driver and Luis had great chemistry and provided a top notch tour of the amazing caves. We felt very safe and enjoyed our time there.
Would definitely do this tour again.

A fantastic day hiking Seven Hanging Valleys, lunch in Ferragudo and then a boat tour into the caves Amazing! - Exceptional day! Not only the experiences but the guides!! Ricardo was fantastic. So knowledgeable and loves his country! Lorenzo and Marcelo made the Benagil Caves tour exciting and informative. So great! Highly recommended!

A day full of beauty! - A day full of beauty! - And our guide allowed us to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape: he always looked for the safest route for us (on a day after rain and therefore with slippery ground), had his eyes everywhere so that he could always be there to lend us a hand on difficult passages - that was really great!

Ups and downs - Our hike was just over 3 KM although advertised at 6 KM. The part of the trail we completed was spectacular so very disappointed in not completing what we were hoping to do. The reason given was ability levels in the group. Perhaps some offering of this activity for different ability levels would help. More than an hour stop at a tourist lunch location didn't seem to fit with an athletic activity day. The boat tour was spectacular and the driver seemed to know the caves well. Had to book over a week in advance for the space on this tour so it's too bad to not complete the hike we really wanted to do and no time left to rebook.

Enjoyable combination of hike & Benagil cave cruise - Of course the views are amazing, would have enjoyed more if the hiking on the 7 Hanging Valleys Trail was much longer, the Benagil cruise portion was as expected, Well handled by the pilot/skipper of the boat, as well the Tour guide Ricardo was well informed regarding the history and structures along the hike and info about the caves.
