Good - Good day. Spectacular views even though the cloud wasn't the best on the day. It is always going to be hit and miss in the mountains. Great driver that avoided an accident just! A foreign driver decided to pull over were you couldn't at the last minute with half a dozen vehicles behind and almost caused a disaster. Our driver Shale? (Cheeky Kea) handled it very professionally. Very good driver. Worth more money if management are looking at this.

A must do in Christchurch!! - I booked the Mount Cook via Lake Tepako day tour from Christchurch and I must say it was one of my best days ever. I was a solo traveller, picked up on time by the wonderful Brent and the views along the way were just sensational. Everyone on my tour was also really lovely and the lunch and snacks provided were a great touch and delicious local food. Brent was a great tour guide with a great sense of humour. His knowledge was second to none and even allowed a quick stop to get better pics of the lake on the way back from the trip as the way there was a little foggy. Obviously you can't stop the weather and even with the rain pouring as we reached the mountains, it was still so beautiful and had we plenty of time to explore. This of course meant no scenic flights available as an added extra on the day which wasn't the end of the world (as you get unreal views of the mountains flying in and out of Christchurch airport anyway on a commercial flight!) but this tour is a must book!! 5 ⭐️
