Outstanding experience in Modena - This food tour was outstanding with exceptional knowledge by our host. It is difficult to decide which was best her information or the food she guided us to for sampling. If you like food and you are looking for a food tour, this is the one !!

Experience Moderna’s food and wine specialties with an expert - Alesia provided a great food experience. She has been trained in the Slow Food tradition, and it gives a unique spin you won’t find in many food tours. The balsamic vinegar tasting answered a lot of questions we had and gave us the basis to buy what we wanted after the tour. The tour of the food hall explained the quality, seasonality, and source of the local food, with an opportunity to sample/compare local salume and cheese, served with local wine. Alessia discussed current efforts to bring Italians back to their food roots, and to teach children about the culture of food in Italy. We proceeded to a trattoria that seemed to be patronized only by locals, and had a couple of very well prepared pastas, based on local traditions. And finally artisanal gelato, with flavors based on local fruits, etc. The tour price is quite reasonable, considering you have a full lunch in the course of the tour. We highly recommend this tour!

Modena great tour - We had a great tour. Allessa explained a lot of the history of the city as well as the food. The food was great and the gelato was even better. Great tour and great guide.

Happy food memories made in Modena - Jessica, our guide was fun and chatty and gave us a great Italian experience in Modena. We visited the Giuseppe Giusti balsamic store, tried cured meats, local cheeses, also pasta at Uva D’Oro and finished with artisan icecream from Blooms

Comfortable ride and fun exploration - We enjoyed the 3 places we visited and learned a great deal about cheese, wine, and balsamic vinegar. The small van was perfectly comfortable for us 4 brothers.

Perfect and delicious way to see Modena! - We greatly enjoyed our time being led around Modena by the wonderful Alessia!! She had so much to share on the subject of Italian food and food in general. She also personalized the tour by including information on what we were interested in learning about as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Good tour - We had a lovely tour with Alessia and learnt a lot about Italian food. The tour was very personalised and plenty to eat at many different stops, ending with an amazing ice cream shop. Recommended

Great experience would highly recommend! - Our tour guide was very nice, she took us to some interesting food venues and of course we sampled some Moderna Balsamic Wine.. which was delicious as was the Gelato!
