We found the evening to be totally enjoyable! - Interesting reading the negative reviews because we really enjoyed it. yes, it is an expensive evening but the price is comparable to most luaus on Hawaii - you will certainly find some that are less costly and some that are more costly. We bought the standard package and had no complaints. Didn’t mind paying $8 for another cocktail, they were good and that’s half the price in any Wakiki bar. I loved making a headband nd a flower bracelet befor the show, The dancers and costumes were great, loved the love music, and an opportunity to go up on stage for a hula lesson. Some of the performers were entertaining and quite funny and the fire show at the end was a big hit. I have no problem recommending this luau. We had piety to eat, and there was a call to go up for seconds if you wanted to. I wish I could respond to the negative moments but if they had a bad time, I’m sorry for that, but we had a blast. I do agree is not on the beach, but if you look at their publicity photos you will see the stage is not facing the beach.

Great time with local flavors. - We loved the show and the food. Our group had a great time at this luau. The dancers were energetic. The show was lively with some audience participation. We had gluten free and dairy free people and they also enjoyed the food. We all agreed we could not have imagined a better luau. Great venue. Completely outdoors with buffet style Hawaiian style food. There were over 12 different items on my tray. You eat while watching the show. Excellent event. I would recommend this luau.

Fun luau - Food was excellent, smaller luau so not an overwhelming number of people. Nice view of sunset at this location behind the Waikiki Aquarium. Wish the stage was raised higher so that performers could be viewed better from the back tables. First luau for husband and son, and they really enjoyed it.

Diamondhead Luau - Great, experience. My 11 year old had a good time! Her first night in Hawaii was a memorable one. She got to make flower bracelets and try out some of their instruments that they also used in the show.

Good Show - The show and music were great, the rest was meh. We had a good time but for the price I felt it was lacking. The food experience could have better, it was decent food but the entire evening felt more like a backyard bbq than a luau. We also felt that the “VIP” package was a bit a scam for just an extra drink ticket for so much additional money.

Don’t waste your money or time. They change things on you at the last minute. - We were all excited about where this Luau was going to be. At the last minute we were switched over to the Ka Moana Luau. They brought our dinner over. I couldn’t eat it, not because I didn’t like it but because it was ice cold. I paid $450.00 for VIP at Diamond Head Luau at the Waikiki Aquarium. This place was considerable cheaper with stone cold food. I chose Diamond Head Luau for a reason not to be switched to a cheaper one that I didn’t like when looking for a Luau. If I had wanted to go to that one I would have picked it over the Diamond Head Luau. I doubt seriously I will ever recommend either one to my friends or family. We ended up leaving before the show was over. It started pouring down rain and of course the stage was covered and the staff area was covered. But we got soaked!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.
