Embark on a unique journey departing from Olhão, the heart of Ria Formosa, which includes lunch at a fisherman’s abode. Relish the typical meal prepared by a fisherman, offering three or four local delicacies. Beverage, coffee, and dessert are added bonuses. Additionally, there will be an informative guided walk around the fishing village, revealing the unique lifestyle of these Portuguese locals.
Experience three exciting stops at the islands - Armona Island, Farol Island, and Culatra Island.
This enriching expedition allows three pauses to soak in the beauty of these islands.
Moreover, get a glimpse of the wildlife and plant life of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. We provide binoculars for keen birdwatchers.
The tour is customised considering the guests, tidal conditions, and weather.
The lunch fare is settled separately at the kiosk before the excursion begins.

Perfect - Very nice outing
Our guide Carlos (local child) was extremely friendly and very interesting. The pool is magnificent. Stops for walks, swimming and the famous lunch break: very generous and delicious.

Sublime Ria Formosa - Without a doubt, the Best Excursion from Olhao to visit the main islands of the Magnificent Ria Formosa.
Memorable and Unforgettable Day with our very very friendly and Professional local guide Carlos who knows these islands and the region by heart, with many informative anecdotes!!!
An Extraordinary meal concocted by Luisa, incredibly kind!!!
So good that the day goes by at crazy speed and makes us want to do it again and again!!!

Formula with private meal for the group on the island. - Very beautiful day in the islands punctuated by a meal with locals (generous local cuisine and very friendly welcome by several generations of the family). Family of the company boss.
We don't make fun of customers!
Stop in different places (islands, at sea) with many very interesting explanations.
We recommend this formula for which you must devote a good part of the day.
Departure around 11:00 a.m. and return shortly before 6:00 p.m.
Skipper speaking both French and English depending on the composition of the group.

Beautiful & authentic - Our boat tour was simply wonderful! It was an incredibly beautiful and authentic experience. Our guide Rui, accompanied by his adorable dog Lily, made the tour something very special.
We discovered so many breathtaking places and learned a lot. The absolute highlight was the visit to the charming fishing village, where we not only enjoyed a delicious dessert with Rui's parents, but also had the opportunity to watch the father prepare the fishing nets.
It was simply fantastic and we really, really enjoyed it. We can only warmly recommend this tour!

Unforgettable walk in Rio Formosa in Portugal - Magnificent ride with stops on 3 different islands for a short visit. Lunch on the island of Culatra. Magnificent views. Our very friendly guide "Paolo", who speaks French, gave us a lot of explanations, both on the islands and on the fauna present in Rio Formosa and the fishing. We highly recommend this company and our very knowledgeable guide.

Happiness throughout a day on the boat - We were welcomed by Suzanna in her little stand at the start of the discovery of the islands near the port. Then Luis took us on the boat with great precautions for our safety because it was a little windy. Thanks to him for taking such good care of us. Not only is he a great captain but he also explains the fauna, flora and islands very well. But the best is Louisa. A table d'hôtes where simplicity combines with a delicious and hearty Portuguese meal. Friends recommended Rota das Ilhas to me and I admit that I recommend this excursion without any reservation. Thank you for this wonderful day, for your kindness and these memories. Ysa
