Brilliant trip to the Ballestas with Ricardo - What a fabulous trip! We saw dolphins, sea lions, penguins, boobies and so much more!!! Our tour guide, Ricardo, was brilliant! He was warm and friendly with excellent knowledge and communication in Spanish and English. A true gentleman!

10/10 Ballestas Island Tour - Incredible boat trip to the Ballestas Islands with stops along the way viewing the different wildlife of Paracas. Really interactive and the tour guides gave us lots of info about each animal along the way - recommend!

Great experience in Islas Ballestas - I had an incredible experience with Eduardo guide tour and James captain. Both of them turned my experience even greater. Eduardo actually studies the region, knows how to explain everything related to the tour! The view is also amazing.

Great guide and captain - Ricardo and our captain were great! They respected the animals and nature but showed us beautiful sights. We saw sea lions, penguins and many different birds. Highly recommend if you are passing through!

Whales and birds a plenty. - An amazing trip in a full boat but the scenery was stunning especially the first stop at the Candelabra made in the sand. Plenty of sea bird life and the boat stopped within a good distance for viewing. On to the first island stop and then a big surprise with hump back whales feeding on silvers on the way. Truly amazing and totally unexpected. Penguins on the island obeyed and jumped into the water in front of us. We headed to the second island with more whales on the way. The second island stop was as good as the first with more penguins, pelicans, inca terns, sea lions and Peruvian Booby's. Lovely experience with our informative guide Abigail Barrios.

Amazing - The tour was very pleasant, the guide was very friendly, explained about the island and animals, trying to spot them and maneuvering the boat so that everyone had the opportunity to view them. Even though it was foggy and not the best time to see animals, we saw some penguins, sea lions, starfish, crabs and countless species of birds. Very organized company!

Nice boat trip - Very nice boat trip. We were in good hands with Eduardo. A very linguistically gifted guide. The islands are really beautiful, with penguins and other seabirds. Hopefully the population will recover after the bird flu.

Penguins, sea lions, crabs, pelicans, and the Candelabra all in a scenic boat ride - The boat you ride on is a covered speed boat. The ride was pleasant although I would recommend wearing sunscreen. We saw the candelabra, pelicans, just 3 humbolt penguins, many cute baby sea lions, crabs, vultures, and the island with all of its arches and caves. I would recommend that you sit on the left side facing the front since that is the side with most of the views. They did turn the boat around so both sides could see but I wished I had been on the opposite side. Many of my photos have heads in them. I booked this as a cruise ship shore excursion and we docked in General San Martin. The ship provided a free shuttle into the town of Paracas which is where the boat tour began. Due to some miscommunication on the ticket we missed the tour shuttle. It said to meet at 9 on the pier and I thought that meant the cruise pier but they said that was the boat pier in Paracas.They still made it work so that was fine but I think it would have been cheaper to just book a ticket from the dock. Definately worth the tour however it is booked. Such a fun day!

Good experience. - Excellent both the excursion and the explanations of the guide Ricardo. A highly recommended experience. It's a shame not to spend more time on the islands.
