Great Land Rover experience - Excellent visit, well driven and narrated by Chris. A visit to an olive oil factory, the arduous climb up to Zeus' cave, and then some breathtaking views during the 'off-road' sector. I can't say that 'Zeus' the Land Rover was comfortable, but it was great fun, and I would do the trip again. Thank you to Chris for all the information delivered in his inimitable style!

Great tour - We did the off-road tour with driver Thomas on May 13th, 2024. Lots of great impressions, great food in the tavern and lots of fun! We can only recommend this tour to everyone!!!! Note to Thomas, Highway to hell louder ;-))))

Fun day in the truck visiting Crete’s beautiful high points - Had a really good day out with ‘Crunch it Chris English’ and as it goes Chris was not a bad stand in for Adeline 😜 Good banter and very informative trip, would recommend it for a day out.

Safari Tour - Everything went wonderfully with the pick-up, tour and lunch. It was a unique experience. Our guide Thomas explained a lot of interesting things about Crete and the region. Simple and uncomplicated.

Amazing experience, once in a lifetime! - The whole experience was amazing and worth every penny! Myself and my husband shared a Land Rover with 6 other people, also amazing people! We had Chris as our guide, he was fantastic and very knowledgable! Any questions we had, he could answer! He took us for the most beautiful tour of Crete, up the mountains, on the plateaus, olive oil and Raki tasting, feeding goats, lunch and to see so many of the little villiages which not everyone sees! It is a once in a lifetime experience, and they are the only group who do that tour around Crete and it’s so so so worth it, I don’t like heights at all but loved every second! We paid €98 each, which is so worth it for the day you have, collected first thing in the morning and back around half 4/5. Such A fantastic day, all the tour guides are fantastic! Cannot recommend this activity enough!

Geoff made us fall even more in love with Crete - Geoff was an incredible guide. He's a natural storyteller. He so clearly loves Crete and delighted in sharing its history with us. My husband and I had already fallen in love with Crete, but Geoff made us love and appreciate the land and its people even more. We loved the olive oil, honey, and cheese we sampled, and the provided lunch was delicious as well. We really appreciated Geoff's advice on how best to enter and exit Zeus's cave, and he made sure our expectations were reasonable so we could make an informed decision about whether to take the option to see it (we were glad we saw it). Highly, highly recommend this tour! Thanks again, Geoff! You're a stellar human!

Great day with a great guide - We had a brilliant day on this tour with Chris as our guide, what a lovely guy with a great sense of humour, he is extremely knowledgeable and this made for a fun day. The views are stunning, lunch at the taverna was delicious. Zeus’s cave was closed on the day but we visited pretty mountain villages, craft workshops, an olive oil factory and mountain goat farm where you could try the goats cheese and the Raki. Chris stopped at loads of interesting places along the way and had so many stories and facts that we were amazed. He picked wild herbs for us to smell which made the whole day feel really interactive. We would highly recommend this tour.

An unforgettable Cretan baptism. - An extraordinary safari with Michalis, an extraordinary multilingual guide/driver. A whole day in the superb Cretan mountains and plains. A hearty lunch in a typical “Manos” tavern washed down with good local wine for those who want. And these 8 hours took place in joy and good humor. Thank you 💕

Fantastic mountain trip with Geoff - Geoff was a fantastic tour guide for the day and kept us all very much entertained. Geoff is so passionate and knowledgeable about Crete, he delivered nothing less than a perfect day trip. We stopped off at many spots for photos, tried the local honey, cheese, Raki, Wine and took in so loch scenery. Geoff was able to provide so much detail and entertainment throughout the entire trip, he’s a real asset.

The jeep safari with NO jeep - We were so looking forward to this jeep safari around Crete. The tour itself and the guide Dassos were remarkably good, he was very personable and knowledgeably and showed off some fantastic parts of this lovely place. The stop for lunch was incredibly good too. But the fact we were in a Mercedes van made this a little disappointing and for us, yes we would have liked a jeep for our jeep safari, bumpy and all. Unfortunately this may well be our last visit to Crete, and have now missed the chance to experience a jeep around this lovely island.
