Best dives and service!!! - Now I know why they have 5 star review EVERYWHERE! We initially got recommendations of the Cenote Guy from a diver in a liveaboard trip and we are so glad we give them a try!! Two days diving cenotes with Sebastian , and it was the best 2 days of dives we’ve had in YEARS! Checked off all the bucket list items and enjoyed amazing services from the them. Sebastian, if you are reading this, THANK YOU for everything you did for us and we love your energy!! I also want to thank Daniela. The booking process is completely ease free, and we appreciate the flexibility and the support! I would definitely dive with them again soon and I can’t think of any reason you don’t if you are looking at this review haha. 中国人不骗中国人

Best dive experience ever - Insane experience diving Dos Ojos and The Pit with Paco! He was an incredible dive master and came up with a dive plan that ensured the best views of The Pit - we were also then lucky enough to be the only dive group there for almost the entire dive. Booking line on whatsapp is also super responsive and helpful. 1000/10 recommend!

Cenote Diving - I did 4 dives with the Cenote Guy (dos ojos, carwash, angelita and the pit). All were amazing. My dive guide, Paul made me feel comfortable and safe underwater at all times. He also knew all about the Cenotes and made the experience more enjoyable! Totally recommended!

Amazing diving experience with a professional team - If you want a once-in-a-lifetime diving experience in Mexico, you should visit Cenote Guy in Playa del Carmen. Aydin and his team are very professional and friendly. They gave detailed information about the place and its history, the steps they will follow, and highlighted the things you should not miss under the water. They ensure your safety very well while diving and it was a real fun chatting with them after the dive. I'm sure you will be glad to experience the cenote diving with Cenote Guy. This cannot be explained with words, you have to try it ☺️👍

We CANNOT recommend!!! See details herein. - Wow, 2 years ago when we 1st used The Cenote Guy we praised their Divemaster, Mel (woman), although this time she was the direct opposite. She lacked compassion, lacked patience, she changed dive communications while we were doing our 1st dive! Many of us had the impression that Mel treated these dives as they were for her own personal agenda (she seemed to be unable to ‘read the room’ as they say). Mel spent a great deal of time explaining that if she points her thumb up 👍🏼, that the dive was over for everyone (non negotiable). During the dive, she signaled termination of dive. The diver that triggered it was confused on why so she asked. Mel has adamantly and gave the thumb up 👍🏼 signal. The diver conveyed that they’d like to do a safety stop since they had plenty of air for that but Mel signaled NO. Following instructions by Mel, a certified cave Divemaster, I ascended to the surface with the other diver (I too had plenty of air). Mel, who apparently was there to enjoy the dive never ascended. Rather she continued her dive eventually surfacing. Once she surfaced, she asked why I ascended. I explained that she signaled the dive was over which per her detailed instructions was for everyone. She said, it was just for 1 diver! (Completely different than her iron clad instructions prior to our dive that a thumb up 👍🏼 means the dive is over for everyone.). The other odd thing is the 1st diver asked why Mel canceled the dive, she said bc that diver was out of air. Oddly, Mel never checked the person’s air. Mel just assumed. The other diver reached the surface with 800 psi. The disappointment continued on our 2nd dive. Mel stopped and lingered in several places causing congestion for the group (none of us are experienced cavern divers so stopping on a dime bc Mel wants to spend several minutes gazing at something was challenging to all). During a stop in the ‘Bat cave’ 2 divers communicated they were starting to get cold. Mel indicated that we would start the dive and finish up timely. Mel did NONE of the sort. Mel continued stopping several times… It seemed to the divers (the customers) that Mel considered this her own personal dive and disregarded the customers. Adding insult to injury, the gear provided either by Mel or The Cenote Guy was pretty bad. 2 divers had marginally working regulators. Both regulators allowed water to enter the mouth of the regulator. Both regulators’ mouthpiece was damaged so much so they could be unusable at any moment. One diver only had the air gauge but no depth gauge. At one point during our dive Mel got so upset with a customer because they did “instantly” become neutral buoyant that Mel grabbed the person and pulled them down then pushed them up high then just left them struggling. Seeing that, I proceeded to help the other diver. When Mel saw me starting to help, Mel shot up and abruptly hit me hard, pushing me away. Mel then manhandled the other diver. I felt so bad for the diver and regretted asking specifically for Mel. We CANNOT recommend Mel nor The Cenote Guy. (Mind you, we did ask for Mel, although someone at The Cenote Guy had to know her quality of service has diminished considerably. That fact should have been brought to our attention.)
