Additional Information

This hiking path is specifically crafted for adventurous souls aiming to reach the Annapurna Base Camp in the least possible time.

The Annapurna Base Camp trail is a distinctive journey at the foothills of the Annapurna South, tailor-made for nature enthusiasts who take pleasure in exploring diverse flora and fauna, absorbing the panoramic views of Himalayan ranges through a different and condensed route which includes Annapurna ranges, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Gangapurna, Himchuli and other majestic Himalayan peaks. These splendid vistas are almost neatly showcased in a circular area with a diameter of roughly 10 miles, encasing a deeply glaciated amphitheater at its heart. This glacier basin, referred to as the Annapurna Sanctuary, is incised to the south by the Modi Khola, which forms a narrow, impressive gorge that is around 12,000 ft. deep. Further south, the gorge expands into a broad and fertile valley, home to the Gurungs.

Namaste - I really can’t Thank you enough for organizer Tej and my guide Andrea, and for everything they arranged for me to make this trip run smoothly. I made a mistake of calculating the dates of traveling and there was also a delay issue due to poor weather. But both Tej and Andrea showed exceptional patience and professionalism in revising the itinerary with excellent advice. I feel calm and peaceful amid impermanence.

Incredible - Annapurna Base Camp trek has been a dream of mine for a long time. Nauser and Ram were the perfect dynamic duo to guide myself and Josh on this adventure. We walked through lush green forests speckled in tiny purple flowers; red rhododendrons, glacier rivers and endless valleys. Stupas, villages, and farms all to the pinnacle - a 360 view of the entire mountain range. Days of walking to reach the phenomenal snow-capped mountains. Yes please! No moment was too long to pause and breathe it all in. Nauser and Ram matched our pace perfectly – whether we were slow or full of energy. Running down the stairs or trudging up the stairs. They were so happy be there. To take photos, to dance and sing, to listen to music, to share stories and tell us everything they knew about the mountains, flowers, animals, people, and culture. They were professional, friendly, and so knowledgeable. As we walked by other people during this trip, they told us they were disappointed as their guide was not very friendly – often on their phones, speaking very little and walking ahead without waiting. We felt so lucky to have Nauser and Ram. Their professionalism mixed with their cheeky personalities was just superb. Smiles all round, all day every day! Tej handled everything with such care and detail. From the hotel pre and post trek, the best tea houses serving the most yum food, as well as transport whenever and wherever we needed it (throughout our whole stay in Nepal). He greeted us in our hotel with gifts upon arrival and said goodbye to us on our last night in our hotel with certificates of completion and fresh juice. Tej told us then that Nauser and Ram are from his village and that he has known these men since they were young boys. There is something so lovely about that! We were recommended this company by a friend in Australia and we will certainly recommend this company to others as well as plan our next trip with them. See you next year for EBC and Island Peak!

True Nepalese flavor in the grand nature - The team leader Tej was very clear, supportive and efficient in arranging my trip to meet my ever-changing needs for a new destination, temple or transportation, always replying timely and heartwarmingly. The trip went very smooth from the moment I landed to my flight leaving, and I felt always protected and taken care of, not to mention so many unforgettable surprises, laughs and dances along the way! Besides wonderful landscape of tropical forest, waterfall, snow mountain, village, farmland, green bush and plateau meadow, which could be appreciated easily during the unchallenging route, I had wonderful time with energetic, fun and versatile porter Chamzey, who, though not speaking much English, did more than just carrying my loads. He taught me Dumbal, a Nepalese card game, so I could bear long break in a mountain with little entertainment. He could easily pick up any fun object in a lodge and quickly learn a new skill, such as a flute at MBC! I joined him and other boys for the volleyball and football games at ABC the first time in my life, though clumsy and always getting hit by the ball, I felt totally excited. I was very lucky to have Chamzey bring the precious and authentic cultural flavors, which is for me more valuable than walking and taking pictures itself. We are both curious and don't need much rest. He is very smart in understanding me even non-verbally. I'm sure if Chamzey picks up more English, he will grow to a star guide within a second:)))))) Life is never about a happy ending but a fruitful journey. So is hiking, where talks and breaks to learn the beauty of local culture and life matter more. Destination becomes meaningful only when story occurs and connection is harvested in the grand nature.

ABC Trekking in May 2023 - The guide and the porters are super professional, friendly, dedicated and provided great hospitality, support. They know the route very well, accomodations and meals all prepared well all along the route as well. My plan was a 9 day trip to ABC from Pokhara. But unfortunately I fell off on the 3rd day on the trail and broke my fingers. The guide has helped me quite a lot from making the phone call to the travel insurane hotline in my country to arranging the Jeep to take me back to Pokhara. He's very patient and show great experience of emergency handling. Thanks to that my hand is now healed. My friends kept going to ABC and they also praised the team a lot. Although I only got to 3000m before going down but the scenery and the view were exceptional. I will be back one day. Just want to call out a big thanks to the team. Keep doing your good job.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek - Firstly I want to thank Tej (Managing Director of the company) for his outstanding help and dedication to make the trek as best as possible. Communication was absolutely wonderful: Fast, helpful, insightful, on the point and never pushy. The online payment process is great and reliable. Tej can help you with a lot of info and advice to catter and tailor the trek to your every needs (how many days, transfer from Kathmandu etc.). Please be advised that they have different types of treks and guides (depending on your budget and needs). We chose "Guide cum porter" which is an entry level guide. So you should expect less english skills and expertise, but for us it was enough and great as we could manage ourselves just fine. If you want a more relaxed and stress-free trek you may want to choose an experienced guide (which they also provide). Our "guide cum porter" was a bit inexperienced, but very kind and also a very fun guy. Even if he was at the start of his career you could see that he tried his best to help us make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Thanks Gurung for all the fun moments on the trek. All in all, we will definitely trek again with Tej and his team next time we travel to Nepal. Thanks Tej and NAT&E staff!

ACT in May 2023 - I spend 12 days to finish the ACT, it was a wonderful trip, the snow mountain the valley the people... everything is so beautiful here! I appreciate Samsher (my guide cum porter) and Tej's support thoughout the whole trip. When we were crossing the 5416m Tholong Pass I have serious difficulty breathing, and Samsher helped carrying both my bags so I can finally reached the top. This is the memory i'd cherish for the rest of my life.Looking forward to meeting Tej and his team next time when I do the EBC or other activities in Nepal. Thank you and see you soon! - Jerry Dong
