  • Bakong Temples - This temple is the second capital city after kulen mountain as first Angkor capital city as Khmer empire. It was built in late 9 century (881) by King Indravarman I. With symbolized Mount Meru and dedicated to Shiva god.
  • Kompong Phluk - The village is known for its traditional way of life, which is based on fishing and agriculture. The people of Kompong Phluk are also known for their hospitality and their willingness to share their culture with visitors.

The best time to visit Kompong Phluk Village is during the wet season (June to October), when the water levels rise and the village becomes more accessible. However, the village can be visited year-round.

Once you arrive in Kompong Phluk Village, you can explore the village on foot or by boat. You can visit the floating schools, the local markets, and the flooded forests. You can also go fishing or take a boat ride on the lake.

Kompong Phluk Village is a unique and fascinating place to visit. It is a glimpse into a traditional way of life that is disappearing. If you are visiting Siem Reap, I highly recommend making a trip to Kompong Phluk Village.
