Highlights
- 3CJC+F9 Glenorchy - After a full safety and equipment briefing on a secluded beach, we kayak across Lake Wakatipu to Pigeon Island. A bird sanctuary in the heart of the Southern Alps. We stop on the beach for morning/afternoon tea and a short walk where we hopefully see some of the flightless birds that call the island their home, before paddling back along the wild shorelines overlooked by glaciers crowding the mountain peaks.

A must-do experience - One of my best experiences in New Zealand. The guide was fantastic and the scenery was out of this world. Also managed to see some weka birds on Pigeon Island which was a bonus

Beautiful day - Due to bad weather this safaris was cancelled - instead we were taken to Moke Lake and we had a wonderful tour. Conner was a very lovely guide.
