This is a must do....you even get fed! - Lalli, our tour guide, has been the best tour guide I (and my family) have experienced. He is knowledgeable, possesses a great sense of humor, provides an incredible history of Iceland, makes sure there are sufficient rest stops, inside venues (mindful of inclement weather), and provides candid information re where locals (not tourists) buy when you consider how expensive Iceland is. If in doubt...try him out. You get value for your money and time.

Fantastic overview and insights on Iceland for first-time visitors - Palli was a fantastic historian and storyteller. The meeting place was easy and he took it from there for a two hour walking tour that was well paced and so informative. Very entertaining too! “WOW, who knew?!” came up from us a lot. Highly recommend. I am coming back in a year and will definitely redo this tour with my spouse.

Start your visit to Reykjavik with THIS tour! - Lalli, our tour guide, has an incredible grasp of the history of Iceland! He puts a fun spin on his narrative! Funky history walking tour of Reykjavík - Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and interesting stories relating to Iceland. He stopped along the way to fill us in on different centuries of history. Our the pace was slow enough to accommodate people with some walking problems.

Fabulous time - Lally was super easy to find, exceptionally friendly and a wonderful story teller. He brought us to areas that we never would have found on our own. He had a fabulous sense of humor and so informative. Definitely would recommend as a great start to your stay in Reykjavik.

The beauty and history of Iceland! - The in-depth stories about the history of Reykjavik and Iceland were so interesting. Our guide grew up in the region and has a genuine interest in his surroundings. Would definitely recommend doing this same tour!

An unmissable Icelandic history tour! - This tour was excellent!! Lalli was friendly, kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about all things Iceland. A friend and I took this tour on our last day in Iceland at the end of a week-long trip, and it was like experiencing Reykjavik with a local friend (who also happened to be a history buff).
The tour was very well-paced with historical story timestamps appropriately planned out to align with the various stops. It gave me a perspective on Reykjavik I never would have otherwise had, and answered all of the musings I'd accumulated over a week in the country. Highly, highly recommend!!! Thank you again, Lalli, for your hospitality and fun company!
