Great place to relax and chill out between tours or at the end of the day. Super facilities and very friendly. - We came here between tours to just relax, enjoy the warm pools and chill out. The view from the coffee bar was amazing and they have a great range of snacks and a super coffee machine. Great facilities and it wasn’t overcrowded.

Relaxing Day! - The staff was friendly and the resort was very clean. The hot spring pools were so relaxing! We arrived as soon as they opened so we were able to avoid the tour busses that arrived later in the day. Also enjoyed lunch and a cocktail, both delicious!!

Good Place - Went here today as part of the tour and was able to get into the hot waters in different areas and then an area that even had cold water as well. Very Unique Experience!

Amazing pools and property! - The pools were amazing as well as the property! We would definitely visit again! I would not probably do the food package again as the food was quite simply bad. We ended up having to go get something else to eat after we left as we didn’t eat much of anything there.

Go to the springs but skip the meal - This was a nice place to enjoy the springs with pools of varying temperatures and a bar. It does not have water slides like some other places but was nice and not overly crowded. The meal, though, was not very good and the reason I gave four stars. I would go after lunch, because there are so many good and reasonably priced restaurants in La Fortuna when the one here was neither, and forego the meal.

Nice hot springs, SKIP their dinner - A nice hot springs place with two large size hot spring pools, and 6 smaller size pools ranging in different temps. The large pool when you first enter is near a bar where there are seats, and plays various Latin music with videos on their TV screen. The large pool in the back is more quiet. My favorite was one of the smaller hot springs all the way in the back where the waterfall provided me a well-deserved massage after a long day of hiking. We got the dinner option with the hot springs entrance, and it wasn’t worth it! There was very limited choices of food (white rice, pasta which was very bland, steamed veggies, three choice of meats which were all very bad, two choices of juices which weren’t good, and some cake). There was no fruit offered for dessert, and the entire dinner was disappointing. Go there for the hot springs, but skip the food there.

Terrible Bartender but beautiful resort. Ruined what would have been the perfect day. - My family and I have been in Costa Rica for the last week, our time here has been nothing short of amazing. We have had the best service everywhere we have been in Costa Rica. We decided to do a tour of the volcanoes and hot springs. We arrived at the Paradise Hot Springs after a perfect day of excursions and a tour of the volcano. The hot springs and the resort are beautiful; so beautiful that we were considering staying here on our trip to Costa Rica next year. However we had a very bad experience at the main swim up bar- The bartender was very unpleasant. He was very passive aggressive, rude, and disrespectful not only to us but to everyone else sitting at the bar. We kindly reported the issue to the front desk lady and asked that the complaint be passed to management. We attended the resort on 04/24/24 between 3:30-5:30 PM. My entire family works in the service industry and we were shocked at the way the bartender treated us. We will not be staying here for that reason alone. For such a beautiful resort it is a-shame that they would employ someone with that level of service. He ruined the vibe for the rest of our night for no reason whatsoever.

Outdated - Overcrowded most of the time. Full of drunk people (or people trying to get drunk) as there’s a bar in the pool! Avoid the buffet.
