Appreciated! - Best places to visit with enough time to see :) It was free time near Kawaguchiko lake. But there were more stops to see places. Mt. Fuji seen from different perspective!

Beautiful day seeing Mt Fuji - We got lucky and had clear weather, so were able to see Mt Fuji from all the locations we visited. We felt we had sufficient time at each location and that each place was worth visiting. The other people on the tour were great and came back to the bus on time, allowing us all extra time at the Chuerito Pagoda. It was a long but very memorable day! Our guide, George (Jorge), was fantastic. We opted for the lunch option, which was really good! Since the food was ordered in advanced, it was ready immediately and allowed us plenty of time to walk around the lake after.

Nice way to see Mt. Fuji - This is a no-frills bus tour that takes you to some very picturesque spots to view Mt. Fuji, weather permitting. The tour is organized well and our tour guide was very nice and helpful through the tour. It is more of a drop off and you spend time on your own, with no actual guidance in the stops. The lunch was ok, but nothing spectacular. We were very lucky and our weather was perfectly clear, with spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from all locations, if it was cloudy or rainy, it would be a shame. Also, note, traffic permitting you could get stuck for a while in traffic, especially on the way back.

Definitely worth it even if Fuji doesn't want to play! - Me and my 12 year old daughter went on this tour. We had George as our tour guide and he was absolutely brilliant. He was very funny and clearly loves the places the tour visits. Unfortunately, Fuji was hidden by clouds but - unlike many of the 1 star reviews - we understand that this is beyond the company's control. We had a wonderful time anyway. The little village looks just like the village in the Okami game. Dinner was lovely and worth the price - you can book on the day. The area is stunningly beautiful and photo worthy even if the main star is hiding! There is a 1700 year old shrine which is well worth the visit. The only reason that I have not given 5 stars is that I would have liked longer at the mountain site. We had a lot of free time at lunchtime which I feel could have been better used. The time we had at the mountain felt rushed. It was meant to be the main event but instead of taking the time to enjoy it, we were worrying that about getting back down in time for the coach. Handy tip #1 - wear sensible shoes and socks. There are a lot of stairs to the viewpoint, and some of the houses in the village ask you to remove shoes to enter. Handy tip #2 - take plenty of yen. There are gift shops and food shops that you will probably want to buy something from.

Beautiful areas and great guide. - George our guide was amazing! He is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Tour was of some great spots but slightly rushed due to bad traffic(outside companies control) unfortunately Fuji-San did not cooperate today and reveal herself but all the places we went were beautiful on their own.

Nice, but disappointing because of the guide. - The tour would have been great if not for the pushy English-speaking guide. Our day was rainy and we couldn't see Mt Fuji (which was fine, we still had a good time overall), however our guide constantly tried to sell us additional items like strawberries, photos, and upgrade our already chosen lunch to the more expensive meat package (which later made sense as he explained the restaurant was owned by the tour company). Aside from the pushyness, we could hardly understand his thick accent, and he provided very minimal commentary on anything related to the tour or Japan as a whole, while the Chinese-speaking guide was constanley providing commentary throughout the tour (majority of guests were English-speaking too). When we got to each location, we weren't shown where to go, and the English-speaking guide was either nowhere to be found or on his phone. We were just dropped off at a lot of tourist trap spots and gift shops. The food was good, the driver was good, the amount of time at each location was fine and would've been great if Fuji was visible, but we left feeling disappointed at how hard our guide was trying to get money out of us, and how little information/context we received about the places we were seeing. I'd recommend a similar tour but with a different company.

Mixed Experience on the Mountain Tour - We enjoyed the scenic views of the mountain, but the journey itself was long and tiresome. While the destination was undoubtedly beautiful, the lack of engaging English commentary during the tour made the experience less interesting than it could have been. If you're seeking someone else to handle the driving responsibilities for you, this tour might be the right option. However, the lack of commentary in English could make the long journey feel lacking.

Trip with unused potential - After all reviews that were posted before, we had very high expectations to the trip, but… The guide gave very little information during the trip and she allocated only 50 min for the last stop which was far to little in order to visit more than 20 objects properly. True, we had great views, but the guiding and time organisation was inadequate.
