Always always something new to see - Me encanto mi visita. The kids were able to make great use of the splash pad and cool off. I love that they keep their exhibits fresh year-round

Spent a full day we were having so much fun! - Fantastic day! Arrived intending to spend 3 hours but spent 6! Immediately went to the Africa section and our 4 year old loved the safari ride. We waited about 30 minutes but it went surprisingly fast. After that we headed to the carousel and into the Australian area. The animals were ok here but the kido rides and splash pad were a big hit, we even came back again at the end of the day. There was plenty of shade, everyone was helpful and friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained. Loved being here despite not loving zoos or amusement parks - would go back!

So much to see/ includes attractions - We really enjoyed our time at the zoo. The exhibits were well maintained, the animals were a sight to see and we even did a few rides. They built the new section for Australia which also included a covered playground area and a splash pad. If we brought suits we could have made a whole day out of our visit. The only thing I was disappointed in was the cost of the photos being that they weren’t real and it was all green screen. I asked if they take photos for behind the scenes and animal encounters and they confirmed yes. So, we decided to skips the cheesy photo for $30 and go back to experience all animal encounters and behind the scenes then choose one of those photos as our memory at the zoo with the real animals. We had a great time and we look forward to returning again!

Good place to go. I would recommend to anyone who wants to see Manatees. - I love the work you do with the Manatees. I could have spent all day watching the orangutans Manatees and pelicans. Really impressed by the zoo. Good gift shop as well.

Excellent Zoo with Free Parking ! - my wife and i visited Zoo Tampa for the first time and were very pleased with the whole experience. the first thing we liked was the free parking , next was the single day admission ($47.95) included free return visits for the rest of 2024. the Zoo is very big with a lot of endangered animals, some that are not, and some that are being rehabilitated too, there is also many demonstrations through out the day as well so you can make a day out of it if you enjoy animals, mammals, and birds, so this zoo gets a A+ in our book !

Overall, disappointing… - It was disappointing. Many, many of the animal exhibits were empty the day we went (signs posted that they were out of habitat); most concessions closed. Was there when they opened at 9:30. For adults, was not worth the price. For families? Probably enjoyable when the weather is warm and the kids can enjoy the water features to cool off and the kiddie rides. The children share seemed to be having a good time. For adults without enjoying the wonder and play of children (which is a magnificent thing to behold), not so much. The Siamang primates put on a great show. Some animals without companions on their enclosures. No enrichment so seemingly a poor quality of life. Love the work they do with manatees. I see manatee frequently where I live and the work they do here to support the injured is amazing.

Worst zoo I’ve visited in tge us - Worst zoo I’ve ever been to by the amount of exhibits it should have cost at the most $20 and that’s on the high end. Don’t do the rhino feeding encounter if you want your child to do it they make you pay for an adult also rip off we fed them 2 green collards each for $60. Walking in the gate cost me $180 for a family of 4 and 2 feeding encounters. Honestly got the price I could have had an amazing experience and taken the kids to a Disney park. Also there should be an option for residence vs non residence ridiculous to have to pay for 1 year price to go 1 time. Will not be back! I don’t recommend you waste your $ taking your family.

Big disappointment - This is the first zoo that I have visited that had no lions, tigers, gorillas, zebras, chimps ...the list goes on and on. The exhibits are very small and the animals don't look cared for at all. I was very disappointed. Too much money for nothing to see.
