Superb experience - Hunter was professional, fun, and took us down the river with tremendous skill and confidence. All of his crew including the shuttle driver and support kayakers were wonderful and great fun to be around. I would highly recommend them for this adventure.

Best Activity in Iceland - Absolutely epic. It was snowing and super cold, but the guides were great and gave us some extra layers to wear. Legitimate whitewater rafting that gave us a very memorable adventure to look back on. Thank you to Amy, Pablo, Tarzan, and Roshan for braving the snow with us and giving us a great trip!

Best trip in the north of Iceland - Amazing experience! First time rafting, but that was no problem because of the professional (and fun) instructions of the staff. Trip was also tailored to our group a bit, with cliff jumps in the river and playing around with the rapids. Overall a great experience which I would definitely recommend!

“Take your fun very seriously” no better sentence to describe Viking Rafting - The views, the group and the guides … I cannot not choose what was best! This people middle name is professionalism. An absolute blast for the adrenaline addicts and a lifetime experience for anyone that sits in one of Viking Rafting rafts. Mark and Hunter absolute legends and all the kayakers made us feel safe from minute one. A shout for the drivers and for the chef (Nhami!). See you soon!

The best experience, so worth it!! - We drove from Reykjavík to Viking Rafting which took a total of 4 hours but it was so worth it. It was easy to find and communication with them via email prior to the day was great. Despite it being only myself and my partner rafting that day because of people not turning up, the guides really made us feel welcome. It started off with a 45 minute drive to the rafting point but it was a great opportunity to get to know the guides who were very interesting and knowledgable about Iceland as a whole. The safety briefing given by Hunter was great and then we pulled the raft down to the river and off we went. The views were absolutely incredible, literally second to none and once the rapids hit, it was just pure excitement! The dry suits were surprisingly warm and significantly better quality than on another excursion we done a few days prior. We stayed completely dry and warm with a few fleece layers on underneath the dry suit. Don’t let the time of year put you off booking this trip! Seeing the snow/ice melting in to the river made the trip even better! The trip was so worth the 4 hour drive there and back. And a massive thank you to Hunter, Benji, Pablo and Roshan, you guys were incredible! Not to mention the quality of the photos taken by the guides, we couldn’t believe it when they came through only a few hours after the trip! In a nutshell, it was one of the best trips we have ever done and we would love to come back and do it all over again!

Best Iceland Adventure - Hunter and his team were super fun to be out on the river with! They are very skilled and were very good instructors, as we felt prepared for every big rapid. And the food back at the base was amazing! Easily the best adventure of our Iceland trip! For sure deserving of more than five stars!

Lord Have Mercy! Somebody STILL Cares about Customer Service! - Our whole experience was beautiful starting with Rosa an excellent greeter (when we first arrived). She rescused us from what seemed so overwhelming. Her personality & sharp listening skills made us feel relaxed and cared for. She definitely set the stage for a comfortable, well informed trip and pleasant atmosphere. All her tips and how to's gave us the tools we needed to fully enjoy ourselves. Others that treated us like royalty were in house greeters Antonia & DeVonte. Everyday we went to the club we felt extra special. I am so sorry I can't remember one housekeeper staff's name that lady clean our room with such excellence & attention to detail not to mention tender love we had to leave her something at the front desk because she was off the next day we were leaving. Others were good but she took it to another level. I see if can find the paper I wrote her name on. GREAT JOB WESTGATE STAFF! GREAT JOB!

Viking Rafting Review - Best rafting tour ever and my family and I have been on a few. Guides, scenery, thrills and meals were outstanding. A must for anyone visiting Iceland!

Roudy fun on a beautiful river - Amazing experience on a beautiful river, fun and challenging. Would do again when back in the area. Martin our guide was fantastic and gave us the roudy trip we wanted. The food afterwards was excellent highly recommended.
