Beautiful sunset cruise - We did the sunset cruise and had so much fun! Raul and George were so kind and informative, and shared cookies and three different kinds of port wine with us. We saw gorgeous views of the city from the river and also learned a lot about the history of Porto/Gaia. Raul also gave us some great recommendations for dinner and things to do around the city. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

A fantastic small boat trip on the Douro river with great views, port tasting and host! - If you fancy a trip on the Douro river out to the Atlantic (weather permitting) on a smaller boat this is the one to go for. Raúl is a very considerate and highly knowledgeable host, we were lucky enough to be just our party of three on our trip and also the weather was good enough for the small sail to go up on the way back to the Marina. The port tasting was lovely and not from one of the « household » names, context and origin of all 3 varieties all explained by Raúl. The history of various areas and buildings was also explained and Raúl was happy to answer our questions. The marina is further out (and calmer) than the pickup points for the bigger boats and easily accessible by Uber which is very (extremely) reasonably priced in Porto. White wine by the glass outside the cafe opposite deck C is good and also very reasonable, and the marina itself is modern and a nice place to be. There are restaurants around the marina that are definitely worth checking out, ranging from family cafes to smarter fish restaurants. We did the 16H30 trip so had an early dinner afterwards, the sunset trip that day would no doubt also have been magnificent! I haven’t included photos simply because there are already many beautiful photos in the other reviews, ours were identical! Stunning sunset views, charming host, excellent port wine samplings - Such a magical evening! Our host Raul was so kind, entertaining, funny…we learned so much about Porto, the gorgeous river, the history and the port wine! Absolutely wonderful and would definitely go again. The wine samplings were generous and the varieties were all delicious.

Perfect boat experience - Our captain went above and beyond to make our experience extra fun! The small group size was perfect for the size of the boat.

Highly recommend 🇵🇹🍷!!!! - Such a beautiful tour, so worth doing! This tour was just amazing, the sights are gorgeous, we sailed for 2 hours in the Douro River, saw the beautiful bridges and the captain Raul and his skipper were so nice and informative! They provided us with different Port wines tasting while sharing different details about the city of Porto and the portuguese culture! Raul was very friendly and thoughtful he offered to take many pictures of us during the tour and they even let us try to sail the boat for a while, it was so much fun! Highly recommend!!

Sunset sailing must do!! - This was one of the most authentic and memorable experiences we had during our 12 days in Portugal! It was private with more interpersonal experience than any big tourist venue could offer. We also got to try 5 kinds of port, learned lots of history, and experienced an amazing sunset! We highly recommend it and will do it again if we return.

Amazing way to experience Porto! - Raul was an incredible guide and we had an amazing time! My 3 friends and I enjoyed the historical and geographical explanations, port wine tasting, the photo taking and the conversation throughout the tour. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting Porto.

Fantastic time - We booked a last minute boat trip with Raul and had an amazing time. It was only us and 2 other people who were quite lovely. Raul have very friendly and shared several different types of Port with us. You will not regret booking a trip with him.
