This destination features the remarkable Coconá caves, adorned with a tapestry of stalagmites and stalactites. In certain areas, openings allow glimpses of the sky and the majestic mountain towering above the cavern. The Coconá caves boast an awe-inspiring interior with a crystal-clear lake and cool water, nestled under a dome with cascading walls forming petite waterfalls. Following the cave exploration, we gear up for a thrilling zip line adventure at the hill’s summit, soaring over breathtaking scenery for an unparalleled experience. Our next stop is Tapijulapa, Tabasco’s sole ‘Pueblo Mágico’ (Magical Town). Atop the 17th-century church dedicated to Saint James, panoramic views of Tabasco’s splendid mountains unfold. Visitors also have the opportunity to purchase locally crafted wicker items, a specialty of the area.
