Fun for people of all fitness levels - Cecil was an excellent tour guide. The tour was suitable for people of all fitness levels and there were only a couple of slight inclines. Most of the tour was on the flat surface. We saw the main sites and attractions of York, with a full story behind their history from Cecil. A great idea to do whilst in York.

Just brilliant - thank you so much for a memorable time! - Can't recommend Cecil and the York Cycling Tour gang highly enough! What a truly memorable, fun and informative few hours we had this weekend, discovering new bits of York I'd never seen and learning a whole host of fascinating history and info. We were a slightly larger group than normal but Cecil accommodated us perfectly and was relaxed and humorous throughout. Can't wait to return with my teens now!

Brilliant Bike Tour - An education on wheels! Thank you! - Great bike tour of York city centre with brilliant and very knowledgeable guide, Cecil. We learned about York’s history including the importance and influence of the Vikings and Romans - it was really interesting to be shown significant locations. We were also shown parts of the city we had never been to before including Rowntree Park and learned about the York’s chocolate industry past and how it helped to shape the city. The tour gave us a different take on a city we have visited many times. We would highly recommend this tour for both newcomers to the city and frequent visitors who would like to know more.

Every visit to York should begin with this tour. - What a great way to start our visit to York. Cecil is an excellent guide -knowledgeable, funny and charming. Being on bikes allowed us to explore far more of the city than we would have ever seen otherwise. We gained a solid understanding of York's history, key sights as well as general layout. We loved that the tour met at York Brew, which I had thought was a coffee shop, to our delight it is a craft brewery featuring dozens of excellent beers. What a great way to wrap up our tour and a chance buy Cecil a cold one.
