From Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan by tourist bus 5-6 hours. And activities in Chitwan.

Kathmandu - We pick up from your hotel about 6 am to 6.30 am then drive to chitwan by tourist bus. On Your arrival at Sauraha Bus park/Tadi or Bharatpur Airport our staff will receive you. You will then be transferred to our Resort where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing & its facilities. After being given your programmed for the day, your room will then be allocated to you. 13:00 Lunch. 15:00 Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit to the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife & Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River. 19:00 Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers. 20:00 Dinner. Overnight at Luxury Resort.

Full day Jungle activities and Tower night Stay.

Chitwan National Park - Wake up call, Breakfast then Canoe ride along the Rapti River . An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of Crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial, Then Jungle walk with our nature guide then back to Hotel.

After lunch Move for Jungle Tower Night. We will take some means of local transportation, and thereafter hike for about 40 minutes to 1 Hour to reach to the jungle tower. Tower is built at the edge of river in the forest, and is powered by solar panel. This is located, in the corridor forest where there is good animal movement. This is one of the amazing ways to gain experience of sleeping inside the park. After reaching tower , you will go for the jungle walk more and sunset view from the jungle.
About 20:00 PM Packed Dinner Inside the Jungle. During the tower night , the guide and another assistant will be in same tower and in case of any animal movement in night , guide will wake you up.
Overnight stay in the jungle tower.

Chitwan District - Morning about 08:00 AM Wake up then have Light Breakfast in Tower or at Hotel. Then way back to Hotel by jungle walk and use local transport. Then after get fresh (Optional Bicycle Tour to 20,000 Lake Area or just take rest and relax. About 1 pm go for 35 kilometers jeep safari inside the Chitwan national park so you will see many wild animals and birds also Visit Crocodile breeding center. After come back from jeep safari Rest/relax in resort or dip into the pool or walk nearby area. Overnight at Luxury Resort

Chitwan National Park - Full day jungle activities.

Chitwan to Kathmandu or Pokhara by tourist bus 5/6 hours

Chitwan District - Breakfast then final departure to Kathmandu or Pokhara by tourist bus 5-6 hours

A perfect experience - This trip was just amazing ! We had a really good time. The organization was very perfect, someone came to our hotel even if it was quite far. The bus ride was pleasant because there are handsome landscapes, the 7 hours went by very fast. Then we arrived at the hotel which was very nice : situated in the middle of the nature, small cottages with very beautiful gardens, trees and birds. It was very calm. The meals were very good, with much variety and very tasty. We did a first walk in the nature on the first night which was very pleasant : we saw beautiful landscapes, the Tharu village and some animals. The night was good, the room was comfortable. On Saturday we did canoeing in the morning : we saw crocodiles, beautiful birds. Then we walked in the jungle and saw rhinos, the forest was beautiful. The guide asked us if we wanted to see the elephants (who were chained), so we had the choice not to see them. In the afternoon the jeep safari was extremely nice !! We had a lot of fun because the guide, Deepu, was very funny and he knew a lot about the park. We saw rhinos, deers, elephants, monkeys. At night we saw the Tharu dance which was so impressive ! (and the dancers were pretty). I really want to thank the staff of the hotel, mostly the three guys in the restaurant who were very nice ! And also Deepu who was extremely kind. 🫶🏻

Excellent tour! - Great experience! It was relaxing, informative, and exciting all in one! The staff was friendly and hospitable! The guide was knowledgeable and helpful! During the jeep tour our guide went above and beyond to make sure we saw the animals.

Amazing - Really amazing experience. Safe, easy and comfortable. It’s a very long and bumpy bus ride from Kathmandu but it’s all part of the Nepal experience. The staff and guides were fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna especially the birds. The tower night was definitely worth it, multiple rooms with comfortable beds, perfect to see the sunrise and sunset in the jungle. Three meals a day buffet style with a variety of options. Got to see 4 rhinos :)

Unique experience in the national park - We chose this tour because of the strong environmental protection. Every guide here is STRICTLY against elephant riding. The elephant breeding center is also avoided. True to the motto: then we'll just walk 2 hours longer through the jungle and find a wild elephant. I can now confirm all of that! The tour was very well organized, the hotel was close to the national park, but a bit out of the way. The staff, the guides were all outstanding. The way to Chitwan (bus) was a challenge, however! The wildlife was the reason for our trip, and we didn't regret it for a second. We saw 14 rhinos, an immense number of crocodiles and birds! The hotel itself was very nicely laid out, but we had several bee nests right outside the window. The pool could have been a bit cleaner. The food and the staff, on the other hand, were outstanding. Overall, we can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour!

Excellent experience with knowledgeable and caring staff / guides - Our experience with Welcome Nepal Treks was fantastic. They provided clear guidance from the moment we landed in Kathmandu to the moment we got off the bus back in town four days later. We felt looked after, safe, comfortable and well fed the whole time. Our guides and hotel staff were wonderful, extremely patient, and most of all knowledgeable. We went away from this experience having learned a lot about where we had visited, gaining appreciation for the culture because of Welcome Nepal Treks. Thank you again for a great experience :)

Great experience with Welcome Nepal! - We had a great experience with Welcome Nepal Treks. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the bus station. The bus had large, comfortable seats and made multiple stops for food/toilets on the 6-7 hour journey to Chitwan. We were met again when we arrived and taken to the lodge, where we spent nights 1 and 3. The second night was spent in the jungle tower, which had electricity (runs off solar), toilets, and beds with mosquito nets. Our guide lent us binoculars and high power torches so we could see the animals. It was a peaceful experience! We saw crocodiles, rhinos, monkeys, mongoose, lots of deer, and many birds. The lodge had a nice swimming pool, garden, and wifi. Food was served buffet style. Each day had a good balance of activities and down time. After arriving back in Kathmandu, we were met again and driven back to our hotel. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable! I would use this company again to book activities and treks in Nepal!

Memorable Experience. - This 4 day trip made our Chitwan jungle experience very memorable. The organisation and communication was excellent; they went out of their way to arrange our transportation. The hotel we stayed in was fabulous with super pool, great outdoor areas and super rooms. The food was wonderful. All the activities were well guided and the jungle tower night was very special. We felt very well looked after at all times it was well worth the price and gave us memories to last a lifetime.

Excellent package - especially the jungle tower! - My wife and I had an amazing experience at the Chitwan National Park, including an overnight stay at the Jungle Tower. Hari Khadka (Managing Director at Welcome Nepal Treks) did a good job tuning our package and coordinating transportation and accommodation, including responding quickly to correct some confusion over our itinerary. Our stay at the Safari Adventure Lodge was pleasant, including an excellent dance show for all the hotel guests. We also took advantage of the large outdoor pool to enjoy a late evening swim. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not memorable. The package highlight was the 1-night stay at the Jungle Tower. The trek to the tower was easy, during which we passed by one of the watering holes to get a perfect view of a bathing rhinoceros. Once at the tower, we used the provided binoculars to see more rhinos and - amazingly - a prowling tiger as well. The dinner in the tower was very good, and the bed comfortable (but it takes some effort to get the netting in place for a bug-free sleep!) The canoe ride, hike and jeep safari were excellent, and gave us many more opportunities to see plenty of wildlife as well as tracks in the mud. All in all, this is a highly recommended package, and Welcome Nepal Treks did a very good job to make our tour enjoyable and memorable.

Adventures in the Jungle - The company that hosted the trip was lovely and very accommodating. The tower was an amazing experience but the accommodation was lacking a little in cleanliness. The bathrooms , while a welcome accommodation, were smelly. One of the rooms was barely habitable due to the smell from the toilet. The hotel was very nice and comfortable with a great itinerary of activities. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Rooms didn’t accommodate a family with children. We had to stay in two separate rooms, When you stayed the night at the tower you lost your room at the hotel returning the next day at around 6 in the morning and then not having accommodation until late in the afternoon. I feel like this was a huge miss for us. The hotel did provide us with one room sized for two people for the four of us to shower until our actual rooms were ready. Hotel also let us down organizing the bus tickets going to Kathmandu. Our family was separated and tour bus was not accommodating to allow our family ( traveling with kids) to sit together for the 6 hour bus ride. I would recommend booking through the tour company directly and avoiding the 20% mark up from booking through Viator. All communication went through Viator and made communication with organizing company challenging.
