Additional Information

I don’t fritter away your time in markets, nor will I pressure you to purchase merchandise. As a government-certified guide endorsed by the tourism department, your safety is assured with me, which is not the case with rogue guides who may land you in hot water with officials. They may also lead you to select overpriced shops, squandering your time rather than imparting you with insights. I promise to enrich every second of your journey with an abundance of fascinating knowledge. Having dedicated years to the study of Egyptology at the university, I secured my guiding license following rigorous examinations.

I will escort you through the ancient wonders within the earlier pyramids and tombs at Dahshour and Saqqara (including the Bent Pyramid, Pyramid of Unas, Step Pyramid of Djoser, Pyramid of Teti, and the Subterranean Serapeum), providing a memorable, awe-inspiring experience you won’t easily forget. I will also instruct you in deciphering hieroglyphic inscriptions—the language of ancient Egypt.

Should there be items you wish to purchase, I’m acquainted with a local village where you can witness the creation of authentic handicrafts like handmade artifacts, genuine papyrus, fragrances, wooden crafts, and glasswork, all at exceptionally reasonable prices.

Best experience I have had - First trip to Egypt - I had the pleasure of being guided by Safy on my first trip to Egypt, and I came with no planning or research. Her passion for animals and caring demeanor immediately made me feel at ease. She is also high qualified and knows her stuff. She explained to me things so clearly, painting a picture of what civilization was like back during the time of ancient Egypt. I can't wait to return and explore more under her guidance. She truly made my experience unforgettable. If you want to learn and also be adventurous. She is the right guide for you. I got to see everything I wanted and more.

Great Tour - After using various guides in Egypt, this was one of my favorite providers. The tour was organized well, and the tour provider really cared about our experience. Of note, when I said that I wanted to enter the Stepped Pyramid when I didn't have a ticket, our guide and driver took me all the way back to the ticket booth to purchase the ticket, and helped manage my time for the rest of the tour. The tour didn't feel rushed, and was informative. Lunch at the farm in Dashur was also really fun, and it was interesting to see a real farm in Egypt. I would recommend this tour.

Great Tour - This was amongts the best tours that I had on my trip to Egypt. The guide was flexible, and when I wanted to see inside the Stepped Pyramid, he guides us back to the ticket booth to purchase the ticket and helped manage our time. The Bent and Red Pyramids were amazing, well worth the climbs inside, and the farm was really interesting to see, with good food and horse riding. I would recommend this tour.

One guided tour in Egypt that was absolutely positively worth it! - I am not a guided tour person and like to do my informed solo trips but this one was positively absolutely worth it! For my 2 days in Giza, I divided them as one day in Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis and second day in Pyramid complex. This was the best decision I made in retrospect. A lot of people do this whole thing in single day and a lot other just don't bother with Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis at all. Both are big mistakes. The guide contacted me on whatsapp a day before and made sure I would be picked up at my hotel. Throughout the trip, I learned that she is very knowledgeable and she has been studying Egyptian history for years. She taught me bit of hieroglyphs reading and setup the foundation of Egyptian history that I was able to use throughout the rest of my trip. That part alone was absolutely worth it. She gave me plenty of time to visit everything and was never in rush. In fact, I was so preoccupied that I forgot lunch and she and the driver also just kept going the entire the day! At the sunset she took me to a beautiful farm with very nice authentic Egyptian dinner. This was such a peaceful and nice experience. I'd also forgotten that this lunch/dinner was included in tour so I tried to pay but she reminded me that it was included! In the farm, there were horses and I even did little horse ride and again never got hassled for money as otherwise is a common practice in Egypt. Throughout the tip, she never ever bothered me even once to sell anything else. Never tried to do any cross selling. Never pressured me for tips or money or anything and we just stayed fully focused on trip. She never gave me a surprise for putting me in a gift shop of her buddies. I cannot possibly tell you how rare this in Egypt, especially on guided tours. Everywhere we went, she had food for the stray dogs and all the dogs knew her! She is some of the most kind, honest and caring person I have meet in or outside of Egypt! At the end of the day, I did gave a significant trip for putting up with me for almost 11 hour day but she never ever pressured me for it. Another surprising detail is that she even went with me inside Dahshur pyramid which is a huge a workout that ends in scary bat cave. She kept stopping in the tunnel to explain subtle things. Most guides will NOT do that. Afterwards, I was playing thoughts in my mind to go down red pyramid as well and she was even fine with that (but I later changed my mind because I was way too exhausted). To put in perspective how rare this is, the next day, I hired another guide and paid about the same money to visit Pyramid complex and that dude didn't stepped into anywhere inside even though it was not even 10% of the workout in Dahshur. If you are going to Egypt, do visit Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. These are not popular but very critical to understand Egypt. The pyramids there are amazing, huge, beautiful and without any crowds. They are well kept secret and you also get to see Egyptian country side. I cannot imagine a better tour than this for this. I am often not the person who doesn't have some critic but this tour was perfect that I actually don't! If you cannot get on this tour for some reason, here are some tips: Get the guide who owns the tour and the company! Don't get the tour by "tour company" which just delegates it to random dudes. In most cases, these dudes they call "guide" have very shallow knowledge (if at all) and they gets paid peanuts by the tour company so they put up huge hustle of cross selling. I would also highly recommend female tour guides as your chances of getting hustled, taken to a gift shops, getting incessant cross sell pitches gets very low with female guides.

Superb and friendly experience! - Safie was very attentive since my first contact. She agreed about making changes in the tour (we included Giza and skipped Memphis). She is an expert in hieroglyphs and passionate for what her does. We - especially my son who shares with her the same love for animals - had an amazing journey with Safie, closing with a fresh tasty lunch in a beautiful farm. I highly recommend Safie as a tour guide!

Incredible - The tour was really cool, Sofie is very knowledgeable, she explained everything in great detail, which made the experience more interesting. Is she super willing to do everything? We went to all the pyramids and she went along, told the stories about the pyramids, then we went to a village, we weren't expecting it, a very beautiful and different place.

Experience the chaos of Cairo without having to worry about anything - Sofy is a very professional and knowledgeable licensed tour guide who showed us so much in and around cairo. Without her, we would have been completely lost in this huge city of chaos. We booked Sofy for 2 full days in Cairo and she organised the driver Mohamed who was also very professional and extremly safe despite the traffic in Cairo. Sofy showed us everything we wished to see in Cairo and had very much knowledge about the places we were visiting. You dont have to worry about any scams or sales shows, she only shows you the places you agree to visit. Sofy is a very kind hearted woman, she always had dog/cat food with her to help out the strays on the streets of Cairo. I fully recommend to book her to see the beautiful but crazy city of Cairo, without her we would have been completely lost!
