As the main commercial hub of Sri Lanka, Colombo is often congested with heavy traffic, which can cause significant delays and waste valuable time. While there are a few attractions, you may find them less captivating compared to the major cultural and historical sites you have already visited, such as Galle Fort.

If you prefer, you can skip the Colombo city tour and spend some extra time relaxing on the southern coast before heading to the airport.
