The temple sits at the peak of Mount Lempuyang in East Bali, thus giving visitors a breathtaking view of the region’s beauty.

At this point you may want to enjoy a cool break from the hot sun. Tirta Gangga is a former royal water palace located in Ababi village in Ababi, Karangasem. The grounds are beautiful and offer something quite different from the other temples and palaces you’ve visited so far. Built in 1948, it was used by the Karangasem Royal family and was built with swimming pools and playful architecture so even the kids will enjoy this one

  • Tukad Cepung Waterfall - We’ll walk down 15 minuts way from car park to the waterfall.

  • Agro Santi Coffee Plantation - Coffee Plantation

Known as the most expensive coffee in the world, learn the fascinating story of how Luwak coffee was discovered and perfected by the Balinese. It’s a story of oppression, necessity and brilliance. Taste it yourself as well as some of Bali’s finest teas. Even purchase your own for friends and family back home.

  • Tegalalang Rice Terrace - The last stop in tegalalang rice terrace, while you can do hiking and swing in this place, its about 1 hour way from tukad cepung waterfall.

If you’ve ever seen a picture of Bali’s terraced rice fields, then you will agree they are quite spectacular. Additional Information

Welcome to a vibrant corner of Bali that many tourists do not get to experience.

We begin our journey by picking you from your accommodation in our comfortable, air-conditioned van. We typically suggest our first halt to be the majestic Lempuyang Temple, also known as ‘Gate to Heaven’. It stands out as one of the most revered and stunning temples in Bali. The temple’s beauty is further accentuated by the spectacular view of the splendid coastline that you can enjoy from here.

Following this, we take you to the magnificent Tirta Gangga in Karangasem, an awe-inspiring water palace that was formerly under the governance of the Karangasem royal family. Here you can rejuvenate yourself in the mountain’s natural springs (don’t forget to carry your swimsuit). We also plan a visit to the Tukad Cepung Waterfall, renowned as one of the most tantalizing waterfalls in Bali.

Lastly, we explore the village of Tegalalang Ubud where you can engage in the thrilling jungle swing activity amidst an enchanting rice terrace panorama. After this exhilarating day, we proceed towards your hotel.

Hidden Bali. Outstanding - We were picked up early as we had a two hour drive until we got to our first stop. The reason is to beat the queues and it’s a very good reason as the iconic photos at the Gates take some time. We were number 58 and it took a good hour before we took our places for the pics. Our driver was called Made and he was excellent. He knew when to advise and when to add conversation about the stops. Then when we went off to explore he was always ready and waiting to get off to the next place. Top effort and good English made it better for us. We then went to the water palace and this was beautiful also. And then off to the waterfalls which was the longest drive as the roads were smaller. The falls are lovely but be aware that there are about 200 steps down to the canyon and they aren’t steps like you have in the house. Some are twice the size. Be warned. After this we went to a coffee plantation and we’re really well looked after. Tasting some 16 coffees and teas and all free of charge. We then bought a couple of them but there was no pressure. It was a lovely place. Then the final stop was a rice field which had the steps up and down the sides of valleys. Lovely pictures to be had and again a nice place to walk although it was the most commercial of the stops. Then an hour drive home. Thru traffic which makes it harder but we were out for some 12 hours and it really showed you the hidden Bali. For the price, you don’t get better value and if your lucky enough to have someone with knowledge like Made and a good personal, all is good. Boom this trip. It’s excellent.

Simply an amazing experience - This was the most amazing experience. We had 5 places to visit and we did it all in one day regardless of the traffic. Our driver Putu was amazing, very insightful and pleasant. Great adventure for young ones too. My son (8years) had the most fun. Beautiful memories. Really awesome!

There was no hurry to get to the next stop, we could spend as much time as we wanted at any of them. At the end of the day, his elite skills behind the wheel of his trusty van will get you back to your hotel in minimum time, safe and sound. Exploring Bali Paradise with Guide Putu - Our tour with our guide Putu left unforgettable memories as he customized it according to our needs. He recommended also some less known but extreamly beautiful wild waterfall, showed us restaurants in the middle of the rice fields and drove on roads with scenic views in addition to the standard route.

Great trip - All in all, the tour was great. We got up quite early, so there wasn't much going on in some places. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the waterfall because it probably wouldn't look nice because of all the rain. So we went to another one, which was beautiful. Our tour guides didn't tell us too much, but we didn't really think that was a bad thing; more information would have been nice at the water temple. We were also given enough freedom to explore everything ourselves, which we really liked.
