The Globe Trek Travel’s Golden Temple Walking Tour commences at the Partition Museum, housed within Amritsar City Hall. Here, our guide fluent in English will elaborate on the historical events that led to the division of British India into two distinct nations, India and Pakistan. This location offers a wealth of knowledge about Amritsar and the country at large.

As we venture through the lively, narrow lanes of the Old Town, you’ll encounter a model of the Indian Parliament and a sculpture of Babasaheb Ambedkar, a prominent social reformist.

Next, we delve deeper into the history of Amritsar and Sikhism at the Akal Takht, the supreme seat of religious command for Sikhism.

The final stop on our tour is Amritsar’s emblematic Golden Temple. This awe-inspiring religious site mesmerizes not just with its exquisite architecture but also with the aura of reverence and spiritualism that permeates the surroundings.

Great company makes journies more fruitful and memorable. - I visited Amritsar for the first time with my family. Being one of the oldest city which had great significance in the Indian History - I wanted to have a deep understanding of it. I was lucky to have Ravish as my mentor in the journey. Few things I must appreciate about the tours he arranges - 1. Cleanliness in the Car 2. Knowledge about the places (History) 3. Suggestions about the restaurants and popular places 4. Very important - I enjoyed his company throughout the tour. I was assured of a Good Stay even before I visited Amritsar. More than tour guide Ravish became a great friend of mine
