Very informative - An easy-paced walk around areas we wouldn’t have found on our own.
Especially loved the cathedral and seeing the red squirrels!!

Beautiful coastal community. Make reservations early for Oban tour. - What a beautiful coastal community. Make sure that you make advance reservations for the Oban tour. This is a very, very popular tour.
If the tours are booked, go in for a tasting anyway.

A lovely introduction to Oban - This was a lovely introduction to the city of Oban. The guide was friendly and welcoming and showed a comfortable and broad knowledge of the city. We met by the tourist center in town and took an enjoyable walk. I recommend this tour for early in your stay as she gives excellent advice for things to see and do, and the more time you have afterward the more you can benefit from her knowledge. The walk is not strenuous (she wisely does not drag you up to the tower on top of the hill. She takes you far enough so that you will know where everything is without going all the way to the castle.

Great informative tour - Rosie gave an excellent tour and share a lot of information about the founding, history, industry, and folklore of Oban. Fun, knowledgeable tour guide in one of the most picturesque cities we’ve ever visited.

Good to very good - Guide was friendly and enthusiastic. She obviously enjoyed leading the tour. However, I don’t think she told us her name.
We were a fairly large group - probably 20 persons. I think this was too large. Sometimes it was hard to hear the guide despite her effort to speak to all of us. Perhaps the tour could move away from the main road more often.
