Highlights
  • Poros - First stop, is the port of Poros where our stay is for 1 hour. Poros is the island of peace, romance and jauntiness. Walk across the town and discover the city hall, the archeological museum and head towards the highest point of the island, to discover the historical and famous clock tower.
  • Hydra - Next stop is the cosmopolitan Hydra where the cruise ship remains for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Hydra is a very popular island because of its extremely picturesque capital, full of red-tiled houses and stone-paved narrow alleys. The traditional means of transportation that you can find on the island, its donkeys, will make you fall in love with it at first sight.
  • Aegina - Last stop, is the famous island of Aegina which is the biggest island of the Saronic gulf and well known for its great production of colorful pistachios, the Temple of Afaia and the monastery of Saint Nektarios. We stay at the port of Aegina for around 2 hours. There is enough time to enjoy your coffee and the famous pistachio sweets at the beautiful port or discover its hidden treasures. After sailing back to port you’ll be transferred to Athens.

Fabulous island day cruise with picturesque views - I had a fabulous time on this day cruise. All 3 islands were very beautiful. Glad I did the VIP upgrade. This came with priority boarding at all stops, comfortable lounge to relax in on the ferry with complimentary beverages like cappuccino, and snack + lunch were included, which were very good. Walking tour in Hydra was also included. The archeological tour (bus trip) in Aegina was extra but worth it to see Temple of Aphaia with panaromic views and stop at the monastery. We were blessed with beautiful weather at end of April, sunny but not too hot. All the staff on cruise were so friendly. The VIP upgrade also included transportation to port from hotel, and they picked me up at my hotel even though it wasn't on the initial list when booking. Would highly recommend!

A “MUST DO” excursion - Highly recommend and if your budget allows, do the VIP option. Our VIP host was Kostas, who was amazing, attentive, and gave tips on what to do and where to go for the best photos. The islands were beautiful and ship’s entertainment topped off the Greek experience.

Great Experience - Opting for VIP on this cruise was the best decision. We enjoyed a private room for relaxation while sailing the Aegean Sea. The food was decent, and the service was impeccable, making us feel truly pampered. The only downside was not having more time to spend on Hydra.

Hydra but more - Hydra guide lives locally so she was great with her personal stories. Poros was a quick stop. Adding Aegina for 2 hours in a bus made for a long day.

Island hopping in a day! - I give this tour 4 stars not 5 because of a miscommunication over pickup time. We were under the impression the pickup was 8am because that was the time in the tickets but it was the time of boat departure. We missed the pickup but managed to make it to the port via taxi. We had VIP tickets. The experience was overall very nice, unlimited drinks, appetizers and ouzo were brought out at 10am. We had a long stretch of sailing then stopped at hydra followed by lunch which was salad, buffet served as a plated meal (fish, chicken. ,pasta, vegetables, rice) and then dessert. Then stops at Poros and Aegina. You have the option of a walking tour in Hydra or a panoramic tour in Aegina which included 2 stops, one at a monastery and other at a temple. I strongly recommend the Aegina bus tour. The monastery and temple were in beautiful locations. There was a small gift store near monastery where you can get pistachios ice cream or other souvenirs and the temple had sweeping views of the sea. On the sail back to the port, they had live music and traditional dancing on board(not in vip section). It was definitely a lovely experience despite the time mixup at the start of the day. The only downside is that the time on each island was limited.

Not really VIP... - The tour was fine, the islands are great and our assistant (Kostas) is a lovelly person and an attentive waiter. But the food was mediocre, the boat is pre-historic, and the VIP status is basically the priority boardind and unboarding and the exclusive use of a part of the ship. All in all it was not a bad experience. But make no mistake: In this case "VIP" treatment is a joke...

Not quite VIP - The islands are great, the tour was nice and our assistant (Kostas) is a lovelly person. But the food was mediocre and the VIP surplus serves only to grant priority boarding and unboarding and an exclusive part of the ship (very old, by the way). Not worth the price.
