Great Tour! - The tour was nothing short of amazing. Our tour guide was superb and the information center went way out of there way to find an off-season tour guide who could give the tour in English. He was fantastic---funny, informed, indomitable in snow. It was a great tour that we highly recommend.

Worth a visit - Great tour and guide. Too much Fugher. Would have been nice to have more of the unique place Augsburg has in the Protestant movement and the origins of the Mortzart family. But overall a great tour and a city with a long history going back to Roman times.

Excellent tour - Excellent tour. Guide very informative and accommodated wet conditions very well with our tour. Also very good at providing information in both German and English. An excellent tour guide and recommend this tour to learn about the fascinating history of Augsburg.

Informative tour of Augsburg - Our local guide provided an excellent bilingual history lesson of Augsburg, explaining it was one of the earliest settlements in the area, he also provided a comprehensive description of the families that built their wealth and invested back into their community. A very worthwhile tour with lots of detail

Excellent Walking Tour - Fantastic tour, fantastic tour guide. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions. He conducted the tour in German and English which added to the tour. I felt like we got to see so much of the city, both the big tourist spots and the smaller more local spots. Would definitely recommend this tour and a huge thanks to our tour guide!

Check event brochure (not trip advisor website) to ensure tour is in your specified language at your chosen time - Trip advisor website error, not program related. I specifically requested the tour in English but at the morning tours only German is available. We still went but one of our members does not speak German and was completely left out on the information. If in language, it is a very good tour.

Good not great - The guide was very knowledgeable; however, we paid for an English tour and our group was both German and English speaking. So he was giving the tour in 2 languages and the English version was short changed. Could use more stops of interest on the walk and shorter at the Fuggeteri

Only ok - Maybe I should qualify my review by saying it started in the afternoon of a cool, windy Fall day. The tour was advertised as in English but actually was in English and German. Our guide did her best but it slowed things a lot. We spent way too much time in the City Hall. Maybe that was to stay warm. We felt we could have learned more about the city than we got on this tour.
